“How in the world did we not know about this place?!?!? Over three decades of living in Alpine and this was our first experience.Such a nice family! Beautiful plants at incredible prices.My milkweed has been decimated by the countless Monarch larvae that we’ve gotten this year. I bought 5- 1 gallon plants at $5 a piece!!I’m thrilled to support another local business that has amazing products.Oh! They also have huge bags of earthworm castings!”
“Very cute place and friendly staff! On-site parking. There's a little cafe with inexpensive prices. I tried the mango black tea but it wasn't enjoyable; I didn't taste any mango and had to add a lot of sugar. The gift shop is adorable with a variety of items, but prices are high. There's a lot of seating for people to come hangout or have a picnic. There's a small swing set, a children's sandbox area, a large grassy area, and a chicken coop with live chickens. Very nice place to have a photography session but there's a $35 fee, which is a bit steep considering there are only a few picture worthy spots imo. Great place to check out if you're in the area!”

Not only is he very personable and friendly, but he is extremely knowledgeable about plants and you can tell how truly passionate he is about helping to make your yard beautiful. Moon Valley's complementary home consultation and design session was an incredible value because most nurseries charge for something like that. Scot created detailed renderings for us showing his ideas for our yard that ended up turning out great once we had everything planted with the Moon Valley team. He personally came on the planting day to ensure that all the plants were placed correctly. We cannot recommend Moon Valley and Scot enough!”
