“This place SAVED us. This was my sons 1st vacation and trip to Disneyland & Knotts Berry Farm pre-arranged weeks prior.
I had set up a rental through Expedia. I am sharing how I got connected to AM/PM rent a car first.
Expedia connected me to a place called "U-SAVE" for my mid-size rental. The lady who picked us up from the airport was great. She was kind, friendly, patient with us but she turned us over to the guy who was not so nice at "U-SAVE". My son said he must have a bad life since he was not so nice to people. To my surprise I learned that he wouldn't take a debit card or cash. They would only take a credit card for the $500 deposit and the 5-day rate of the rental car. I tried calling a family member to get them to cover it, I tried to use my credit card for the $500 deposit and use my debit for the rest since I didn't have much available but that guy said "NO!!! YOU PAY ONLY WITH A CREDIT CARD. SORRY THEY SHOULDHAVE TOLD YOU. YOU CAN CONTACT EXPEDIA, THEY WILL HELP YOU GET ANOTHER RENTAL SOMEWHERE ELSE. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU. AVIS HAS RENTALS CALL THEM". I told him "I could only pay the amount I agreed to pay for a reason. I couldn't afford anywhere else. Especially after buying the package for our flights, hotel, Disneyland, and Knotts Berry Farm. I was upset because I planned so many details to make this the best and the smoothest trip with minimum chaos. This is about my kid having a nice first vacation. We need a car to drive to these places we have tockets and reservations for". He huffed and puffed outloud. He seemed to be stressed by the previous customer happenings in the office before we had arrived.
Tears streamed down my face as I sat there exhausted from the early flight as I was scrolling through my phone looking for availabilityprices at other places. My son asked "What's wrong Momma why are you crying?" I TOLD HIM "I just wanted to take you on a fun and special first vacation but nothing is working out now. If we don't have a car I have no way to get us there. I am sorry baby". Then the grouchy man from U-SAVE said "Maybe, I can see if this guy at another place has a car and will honor your original price. I believe he will take your debit card". That is when he called AM/PM Rent a Car, hung up looked at us and said "He agreed" then grabbed our suitcases and set them out on the curb. As he walked away he said "He will be here in 10-15-minutes for you to take you to get rental". Then walked away. FYI, I reviewed U-SAVE separately.
The nice man from AM/PM showed up helped put our suitcases put in the trunk, then took us a few blocks away to their office and hooked us up with a nice Kia Forte for my original quoted price with roughly $40 extra for the ins I bought.
My kid was even messing with their computer printing things up somehow, grabbing and touching everything he saw (he has ADHD/ASD/Sensory seeking behavior) and
these folks were still AWESOME. They were smiling, patient, helpful and were reassuring me everything was going to be good. When we brought the car back he drove us back to the airport to drop us off on time for check in.
They are a smaller place and definitely are the people you should see when your in town and needing a car. I told him this morning that I was going to do a review for making this happen for us. They never asked me to do one. I just wanted to express my gratitude and send some business their way. In my family customer service goes a
REALLY long way.

“I had the best rental car experience at this location with the most affordable price point a rental can offer. 4 dollars per day since State Farm covered 80% of the rental cost.Manny was extremely smooth with helping me see the car options (they have suvs and sedans that are spotless).They also have a driver standby so if you come by yourself the driver takes you to the collision repair center which is cherry on top,The coworkers are also the kindest people. All three gentlemen were very cooperative, sharp and gets paperwork done in a blink of an eye. They saved my life because their processes are so smooth!! Who would have thought the best rental service in the world is in my hometown!”

The State Farm reps were lacking in training for their job, but thanks to Tyler walking them through the process over our cell phone twice, it worked out like a charm. Without Tyler and his team, State Farm, of all good ins. companies, would have turned this into a miserable experience.”

If you're slightly late returning the vehicle, Enterprise won't suck your blood dry, they're very accommodating, and their employees are very professional. The young lady who manages this location is quite proficient and professional, and she is a complete attribute to Enterprise. It's nice to see a company that values their clientele, and Enterprise has always been quite consistent at that, and that is why I use them for all my rental needs.”

2624 Newport Blvd #101, Costa Mesa“I had a reset Igor a Penske truck. Apparently the location was at a small one man office location in a suite of offices off of Birch and Mac Arthur. But there was an out of date directory, no Penske trucks in sight, no one answered at the office for Nagashi Inc. and come to find out this online reservation was lined up as a One Way out of state. WHICH WAS INCORRECT, I ended up reaching ABC RENTALS which not only answered the phone the guys was extremely patient to listen to me try to explain what was happening. I don't know about you , but these days most people want nothing to do with your problems. These gentleman said they had a rental of exact size they needed and could get me going asap. I got there in less than 10 minute and was very relieved and glad to have come to this little tiny location in my backyard and got the full on friendliest treatment. I HIGHLY Recommend ABC RENTAL for a no nonsense moving truck rental experience. Harry was great and the gentleman who answered my call was beyond patience and helpful for us. Thank you !!!!”
“We will keep this one short and sweet. Have used this place four times and every time it was like butter on a pancake nice and smooth. The owner is awesome and goes out of his way to make life as easy as possible. Every time I have used them they start you on a full tank and ask that it comes back the same way but doesn't everyone. I just like the fact it starts at full. Used it twice for a grad knight to universal studios from Anaheim, and use less than a tank of gas for the round-trip. To take a group of kids to their eighth grade promotion dinner. and once we use them to take a mission trip to Mexico. So if you are looking for intercountry travel, I'm supposing they will route to you.”
