“I came here to process my passport application for the first time, Michelle’s customer service is exceptional, she really knows what customer service means, as I was waiting in line I observed her helping a family of four with their passports and she was always smiling even though the office is super hot, I had a very pleasant experience thanks to her! Thanks Michelle you’re are truly appreciated!”
“I am mind blown at the kindness I received today at this Post office. Thank you so much lady for helping me reduce the size of my package to save a few dollars. I’m trying to save for a road trip with my family and have been unfortunate to all of the sudden need car repairs as well as a dental procedure due within weeks of my trip I’ve been trying to save for that I will now have little to bring on the trip since these pressing circumstances are very costly. Every little bit of money helps. Thank you thank you ?”
“The historic post office at 900 Alameda Street in Los Angeles, also known as the Los Angeles Central Postal Facility, is a significant architectural and historical landmark. Completed in 1934, this building is a prime example of the Beaux-Arts style, featuring a grand façade with classical detailing and an imposing presence. Its design reflects the importance of the postal service during that era and showcases the artistry of the time.
The building's interior is equally noteworthy, with elegant spaces and intricate design elements that highlight the period’s craftsmanship. Over the years, it has been a vital center for mail distribution and has played an important role in the city's development.
Despite the changes in postal operations and usage over the decades, the facility remains a prominent example of historical architecture and an enduring symbol of Los Angeles' growth and modernization. Its preservation and continued significance make it a valuable landmark in the city’s architectural heritage.”

2100 Montrose Ave, Montrose“My mom had put a stamp which was worth twice the rate of a regular stamp and was sad when he made me pay for another stamp..I thought is was a regular stamp but it wasn't so I didn't notice and he should have! I paid him more money to send my mom's mail and he should have looked at the stamps value and not charged me. He also asked me to return a letter that was put in my mailbox addressed to a different address completely and a different name to my Post Office..I told him the mail man had delivered twice to my house! I said send it to the correct house I don't want to drive to another PO. He finally agreed to take it. Why should it be my problem. I had put it in the outgoing mail after getting it in my mailbox with the flag up and my stupid mailman just didn't even look at it and put on my mailbox again!!! Didn't even look to see the address was a different street, number, and name!!! So why ask me to any more than leave it at ANY post office? So d**** Not my problem. It was someone else's gas company bill. Sheesh!!!”
“Took a while to get through the automated phone system but I was able to connect with someone pretty soon after. Not only did they answer my questions, but I did submit an investigation and have been thoroughly followed up with through the whole process!”
“Tracy is the kindest postal office worker I’ve ever met! She is so sweet & makes going to the post office, which is usually a drag, a surprisingly pleasant experience. She should be recognized for this!!”
“I just wanted to say thank you to Jose for always being so nice and helpful to us. We go to the post office almost everyday and he is always in a good mood. I appreciate his amazing customer service and friendly attitude. We always make sure to go to this post office because of him. Thanks Jose.”
“Shout out to Ms Renita!
Thank you for your help today (08/16/24).
Positive attitude, approachable, knowledgeable and very helpful.
I wish there's more like you. You have no idea how much you cheered me up today. Thank you.”
“I was dreading going to the post office as I had to take care of some unpleasant matters, but Emidio made the process smooth and was very polite. Not to mention how beautiful the building is.”
“I like this Post Office because they have a stamp machine, which is easy & convenient. The lobby is well kept and always stocked with postal supplies. The P.O. Boxes are easy to access and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. There is a small parking lot on the side (off the alley) and 20-minute parking out front.”
“Parking is AWFUL! However, the customer service team is always helpful and friendly which I have never experienced in any other post office. Like the one in Verdugo Road where the attendants are incredibly rude.”
“I needed to overnight some paperwork and ended up at this location. I'm so glad that I did! Parking was super easy, the gentleman at the window was super helpful and warm and friendly. We just don't get a lot of that these days and it was appreciated. This would definitely be my go-to location if I weren't about to bail out of the state.”

607 Foothill Blvd, La Cañada Flintridge“Initially I posted one star....but an amazing staff member still on the premises at almost 9PM came to the lobby and fixed the self serve machine so I could get a package out. I was writing the review before I saw him. I was initially frustrated because the lobby was locked on the weekend without website notice. I went back Monday and processed almost $10 in postage for a package...no postage issued....tried again....same thing. Someone did not load postage labels in machine properly. Looks like from the jammed labels there were several before me that walked away without their postage, too. I hope to get the second label refunded. I appreciate the employee that went the extra mile!”
“Postal Services in Sierra Madre, Los Angeles, California...We had just finished breakfast nearby when I asked my friend, Hannah, if there was a post office nearby. She pointed and said that there was one right around the corner! Yay!Sierra Madre's post office is cozy, calm, and mellow. I felt like I was in a safe, small, quaint country town. I parked in the back of the building and walked in the building from the side door.Other people parked in the front, on the street, and walked in the front door.It wasn't crowded, so, I walked right up to the letter slot, tossed my postcard in, and left.Easy as pie!”
“I have been to 4 post office locations in the city of Pasadena CA. This one by far has the most friendliest and helpful staff out of all the locations I have been to! Seriously, I have received attitude and even hostility at 2 of the 3 other post office locations that I have done business at. If you need to do any business with the USPS in the city of Pasadena CA, this is the location you want to go to!”
“This is my go-to post office because the staff are friendly and helpful and typically when I go (early morning) the wait time is totally reasonable. Parkings not ideal but there are usually a few spots on the street open if you can't wait a few mins for a spot to open up in the lot.”
“My postal service is efficient! The employees are customer friendly & informative! Very clean & quite decorative during the holidays! Customers smile & greet the employees respectfully! Our post office is the best & i have frequented a few in in Whittier!”

7800 State St, Huntington Park“Typically I loathe going to the Post Office as much as the DMV. Today however I had the most pleasant experience and here are the reasons why. 1. Parking was readily available ( This post office has a good amount of spaces and there is residential parking available as well. 2. The line was non-existent ( There might have been one person ahead of me in line. PRO-TIP: If you come before 11:30 the line is smaller, they tend to get busier in the afternoon) 3. Pleasant customer service ( Ms. Lucy was kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. She even double-checked a shipping policy of the receiving address to make sure packages were still being accepted. Thank you Ms. Lucy you're awesome!) I will definitely keep this Post Office in my rotation.”
“junior was super helpful and kind! took care of all the customers quickly. a good post office experience and they have a big drop box for pre-labeled packages. super easy!”
“I moved over this post office from my previous location. The service here runs as need be efficient and down to business. I have heard people be nosey about a previous employee who was in terrible health. Dumbasses like this Rob want to know things that obviously standing in line behind them can not be discussed by another employee. I own a business and you can not give out any personal details period. Get a grip and find a hobby. You take up my time in line with your frivolous complaints. Signed boohoo”
“I had to do a return and really wasn't prepared. I had the items in a see through bag it came in and the returned label in hand. Anthony offered to pack and label the bag for me. Made my day! THANK YOU!”

225 S Ivy Ave, Monrovia“The friendly staff at this USPS location are always going the extra mile to provide top-notch, patient, and kind customer service to me and others. There’s also a self-service kiosk that’s 24hours, and a small indoor package drop to help speed up simple transactions.”
“Great Service, Frank Espinosa Passport Clerk assisted us on renewing our family Passports. Had to make multiple trips due to our crazy schedule. Every time I went in Mr Espinoza was pleasant, professional and helpful. Did have to wait because I didn’t make an appointment. While waiting , I observed how professional he attended each person before me. Thank you. Maricruz Zambrano”
“Nice little post office. Small parking lot. Available packaging supplies are inside the lobby. Lines are short when I visit. So you get in and get out, faster than most post offices. This post office is right across the street from South Gate high school. So it wouldn't be a good idea to go during school release times, due to traffic and congestion. Otherwise, this is a great post office for your mailing and shipping needs.”
“I love this post office. Not only is it closest to me but they're always pretty fast, I know I'll be done in 5 minutes whenever I come here. They also sell gift cards and birthday cards which I feel is a nice touch :)”
“I've been shipping items for a year here now and I've never had an issue. I usually go on weekday mornings and I never experience a long line. Everyone has been very helpful.”
10AM - 5:30PM
3300 Foothill Blvd, La Crescenta-Montrose“Slow and machine stencil wasn't working and postal rep didn't tell her for five minutes she could just use her finger. Probably because she was busy looking at her phone. Meanwhile the line grew from 3 to like 9.”
“If you're looking for a reliable and efficient Post Office, look no further! I've been using this location for years, and they consistently deliver excellent service. Whether it's sending packages, purchasing stamps, or seeking assistance, the staff is always friendly, organized, and knowledgeable. They make every visit a pleasant one.”
“Great post office, not busy at all @ 10:20AM on a Wednesday. The employee working today was so friendly. Definitely not used to nice and helpful USPS employees so that was very refreshing.”
