“I took my girls shopping at Old Navy recently. We were looking for a particular size of pants for one of my daughters and couldn't find them. Summer surprised me by coming over to offer her help to us check her stock before I even had a chance to ask for help! She even told me there are colours to choose from, which I was not aware of. When Summer found that there was not any stock at the store, she suggested that I take the pants to the till and ask the staff to help us order the right size on-line. She told me that the pants will be shipped to our home and shipping would be free. I was delighted at how easy it would be and purchased two pairs that day. I really want to highlight Summer's exceptional customer service because usually, when I go to a store, it would be hard to look for someone to help me. and even when I got hold of someone, sometimes they are not very helpful. They either don't want to help or don't try very hard. But Summer is different. She overheard my conversation with my family and took initiatives to help. She wore a smile on her face the whole time. Thank you, Summer! And what a nice name you have got = )”

“I was absolutely blown away by the service from the store manager, G. Even during a busy rush, he prioritized everyone equally and made sure every customer felt taken care of - all while multitasking a million things at once. The atmosphere walking in was warm and welcoming. I originally came in just to browse, but G convinced me to try something on… and one thing led to another. I ended up leaving with three polos and spending a couple hundred dollars — and honestly, no regrets!

“We totally love being tourists in our own backyard! We zipped over to Steveston for a day trip to soak up the sun, grab some good eats, walk along the boardwalk or town, and, naturally, hit up the cute tourist shops.
We popped into a spot called Beau Monde Souvenir & Gift Shop. My wife initially had her eye on a hat, but she ended up falling in love with these bags instead! She even grabbed two for herself—one for her mom and one extra, just because!
The sweetest part, though, was for the kids. My girls spotted some BTS stickers, and the owner was a total pro! He knew every band member since he has a daughter, too. He was super kind and just gave each of the girls a sticker of their choice, totally free! Honestly, that was the highlight of their day. They didn't stop talking about those stickers—not the ice cream, not the fish and chips, not the shops... just the free BTS stickers from behind the counter at Beau Monde!
And get this—while we were asking about a specific bag design, the owner actually went digging in the back for more options. Plus, we noticed he was chatting with some of the other customers in what sounded like perfect German (we think he might be Korean!) and he spoke flawless English too as well. Talk about talented linguistic guy!
Seriously, if you're hunting for a little something, whether it's for you or a gift, you absolutely have to check out Beau Monde Souvenir & Gift Shop! You won't regret it!”

“This review is provided on 1/24/2026 based on interactions observed with the team at Uniqlo CF Richmond Centre.
I visited the store before 6PM to return a purchase. While waiting in line, I had the displeasure of having to listen to a belligerent customer belittle the staff (and I think the manager on shift). From what I could hear, her grievance laid with how Uniqlo policy prohibited her returning something for which she was unable to produce a receipt for. She repeated multiple times that she or her mother had bought the item at a different location and wanted to return it, all while mentioning that the receipt was lost. When the manager calmly presented the store's policy, she escalated, raised her voice, and spoke in a condescending manner. While I grew more frustrated with the interactions unfolding, I thought it best to only step in if it got truly out of hand and the Uniqlo team calmly and professionally handled her.
I can't believe people like this exist, asserting their own version of store policies to the very people who work at the store itself. The icing on the cake was when I learned that all this bickering was over ordering a DOUBLE XL piece of clothing.
Again, bravo to the team for tolerating her and handling her tirade so well. If it were me in their shoes, I certainly wouldn't have been able to!
