“I had a very good experience when I went to this store to purchase a new phone and connect mobile services. The staff who assisted me were Nicole and Cher. Nicole went above and beyond to review my old phone contract to ensure that I would not be "dinged" with penalties if I disconnected and went with Telus. They demonstrated that they want the business but also took the time to make sure that things will work smoothly for me. Kudos!”
“Leaving a review only to shout out Albert - he, unfortunately, was the receiving end of my Karen-ness at the end of a very bad week, which happens all too often to those of us in customer service positions, and he handled it beautifully, calling me back with a solution to my problem and graciously brushing off my apologies with a smile. I really, really appreciate it - with my tail between my legs. Thank you, Albert! Oh, and Cityfone is great - cheap and easy to deal with, unless you lose your phone because unfortunately they don't have online chat anymore, I guess due to joining with Zoomer Wireless. My one complaint!”

“TLDR; Their presentation and communication could be better, but the repair work done is great and legit. I can't speak for the accessories they sell. 4.5/5.
Went here because my phone screen suddenly started having a glitchy/whiteout display (not cracked) and they offered to replace the whole screen with the options of the official one or a much cheaper aftermarket one; I went with aftermarket as I'm due for an upgrade anyways. They said they ran into an issue where an internal cable was found to be damaged as well, and that I needed to wait an extra day or two so they could order the part to complete the fix, but I didn't have to pay for the ordered part.
As this place has mixed reviews I was a little hesitant but gave them the benefit of the doubt. After 2 days they had not contacted us which made me a little worried so I visited the store again and they said the order should be arriving the following day. The following day they contacted me and I picked up my repaired phone. They actually went ahead and replaced the screen with an official one (not aftermarket), with a screen protector, at no additional cost.
The job seems to be well done and I have no issues so far, will update this review if it suddenly starts having problems. The total cost ended up being a little over half of what other repair places were quoting for a repair with official parts, so I can't be too upset about the wait. Main issues would be the lack of communication during the wait, as well as their Google Maps phone # actually being an outdated wrong number.”
