“Staff are knowledgeable about their beer and liquor. Its a super laidback, well stocked, clean and organized space with ‘I’m a real person who is a nice guy vibe’. I personally prefer this over ‘all done up nice’, as it makes everything more approachable including the staff which are super cool and always happy to help. Prices seem fair, and for anything from a daily driver to a more formal dinner party, i think your well covered. Just don’t come here expecting to speak with a sommelier, this isn’t the right joint. For me, Its my staple, and this is the place I go too 90% of the time.”

“After two or 3 visits, staff got to know my name, and what My wife and I like.After many visits, I get greeted like a friend by name, and even get help collecting what I went in for on Fridays.Great staff, and lots of fun chat about all and anything if they are able, and even have fun with jokes and such.Also takes request for new idea’s for stock.”

“This branch is one of the best BC Liquor branches in Vancouver. In this store, Mozhgan, as the wine consultant, gives you very good information about different types of grapes and wines. I was so impressed.”
“Went into Highgate BC Liquor the other day, and what an experience. From the staff at customer service, the cashier saying hi as I walked in, the staff on the floor and filling shelves were all so helpful. I found what I was looking for and even had a chance to taste some wines at their tasting bar! 10/10 experience”

“Overall, a good liquor store. However, they do close for an hour during the day — and from what I know it is quite random. So it is very difficult to figure out which hour of the day they are closed. They should update their hours online and also post it outside their store.”

“There are limited carts and sorting stations, availability depends on how busy it is when you arrive.Staff are very quick to count and collect the returns after you have sorted them.Sorting area has enough space to move around in, again, this depends on how busy it is when you arrive.Access via back door at the parking lot.”
