The Long-Awaited First Dillard's South Dakota Store Is Finally Here

After lots of delays because of Сovid-19, Dillard's is finally opening its very first store in South Dakota. The new location is at The Empire Mall in Sioux Falls and is going to be huge - 140,000 square feet – 40,000 feet more than the old Younkers store it's replacing.

<p>The new Dillard's has been totally renovated with all the newest store designs, technology, and merchandise displays. Shoppers will get to experience shopping in a modern, updated way.

If you want to be one of the first inside, there's a soft opening Friday 1st at 11am. You'll get a sneak peek before the big grand opening event, which is happening on March 6th. Dillard's is partnering with the Washington Pavilion for a ribbon cutting at 10:30am. Top Dillard's execs like Bill Dillard III and Chris Johnson will be there too.

The first 300 customers get mystery gift cards worth between $10 and $500 to use that day! Plus 10% of that day's total sales will be donated to the Washington Pavilion.

It's been a long road since Dillard's first announced the new Sioux Falls store back in 2018. But now Sioux Falls finally gets its own Dillard's with all the latest and greatest!
