Walgreens receives mixed reviews regarding its pharmacy services and in-store shopping. The pharmacy staff is frequently described as super helpful, nice, competent, friendly, and professional, with specific praise for efficient vaccinations and resolving complex issues. Many find the pharmacy very efficient and recommend it highly. The app is noted as wonderful and easy to use for managing refills. However, significant frustrations are reported with store operations. Staffing appears limited, with only one tech and one pharmacist working at times, leading to unanswered phones. The accuracy of the app's in-stock notifications and its quoted pickup times—sometimes promising orders in as little as 30 minutes—is unreliable, with orders often delayed for hours or containing unavailable items. This forces customers to visit the store in person or shop elsewhere. The high volume of customers, particularly for COVID shots, is also noted to impact the pharmacy's usual smooth operation. While the pharmacy itself earns strong praise, the overall experience can be inconsistent due to these operational challenges.
Looking at all these reviews is funny. My recommendation is for people to download the app to put in your refills. I went in the other day and their was only 1 tech and 1 pharmacist working. Looks to me they do not have any employees to answer the phone. Not really their fault.

I've been coming there for years but it looks like the drive-thru window hasn't been cleaned in years

Super helpful, nice, and competent. Got things done that I've been struggling with another pharmacy for months now. Thanks so much!
