“I'm not the gym type. I prefer to do most of my strength training and cardio outdoors, mostly because of the stigmas that plague the vast majority of gyms. I can, with impartiality, attest to the fact that Mac's is a personable, first-rate, clean gym that upholds values of discipline, support, and fairness. They take care of their customers and ensure the best service is provided. It's a fun gym with a diverse crowd that's more like a family. Their rates are one of the most reasonable in Eagle River, Anchorage, Palmer, and Wasilla. I recommend trying Mac's out for yourself.”
“Great gym and staff. Only recommend I would have if any, is there is a lot of wall space you could deck out with local art. The kid pool could use a larger pad at the base of the slide that is non-slip, and I was looking at the track upstairs, and if it was extended out across the gap in front that would be great! Also, probably very expensive. Just ideas!
Also I like the added value Alaska Club gave us with the jump park free of charge recently.”

“As far as showers go. If you're looking for a quick in and out I would say their "day pass" is not quick. You have to give them email, id, phone number, and they don't take cash. The staff was really sweet so they get 5 stars, but if you're looking to get in & out quick the way the systems set up isn't really made to go fast. I get the id, but you don't need my email & phone number...”
