1530 E 59th Ave, Anchorage“After my last physical I asked my doctor who does she recommend for an excercise program and she suggested cross fit and specifically Redox CrossFit as the safest. I reviewed their web site and took the first recommended step and called the owner Meg where she recommended I come in for a two step free introduction to their program. The first step she describes their philosophy and expectations of their clients and wants to hear what your concerns and expectations of them and the second step if you want to go further she does an assessment with some of the equipment in the gym. I was very impressed with these steps and signed up for 3 sessions a week. The actual exercises are well run by Meg and her coaches. They all have a deep understanding of the exercises and how they need to be executed. Occasionally the coaches will have me or another modify the exercise because of my strength level and are always making sure I as well as everyone are doing them properly and safely.Redox is a fun and exciting place to work out. The coaches are fun and very knowledgeable and their clients are all helpful and encouraging as well. Give Meg a call, I am confident you won’t regret it.”

6239 MacKay St b, Anchorage“My CrossFit Northern Exposure experience began 4 months ago. I have been extremely impressed with the knowledge levels of all the staff and especially Emily. Being almost 70 and having a number of "issues" I was guided through the WODs in such a way as to not injure myself and I didn't. If I lived full time in Anchorage I would make my attendance here a "locked in" must do activity.”
“What are you waiting for? TRY THIS GYM OUT RIGHT NOW!!! After doing solely long-distance running for several months following a sedentary lifestyle, I was getting burned out and unmotivated when it came to fitness. On a whim, seeing that the first class was free, I decided to give OTF a try. I was very nervous to attend my first class, but Coach B (Brenton) and the sales staff were super welcoming, attentive, and encouraging. I signed up for the "Elite" membership and I'm hooked. Coaches B, Nafisa, and Katie are all absolutely fantastic. This night owl is now actually looking forward to getting up at 5 am regularly to attend Katie's tough, but fun and rewarding, class! Even my partner has noticed that after doing OTF, I'm much happier and more motivated when it comes to fitness, which has always been a struggle for me. Thank you OTF!!!”
“Bonnie works well with individuals of all fitness levels! She has been a consistent coach for me in reclaiming my fitness, stamina, strength, and being around other people with similar goals has been a pleasure! It is a small community in Anchorage, supportive, and welcoming!”

Very comfortable place to work out and reach your fitness goals. 10/10 recommend for someone who wants to avoid huge commercial gyms that are always packed.”
“Really cool people, friendly place, great programming, and beautiful views to make the runs less painful. I dropped in while on vacation and loved it here. The showers were so helpful, everything was clean.”
“Good reasonably priced gym with 2 locations in Anchorage. Only the Old Seward location offers child care, both locations have pools, machines, and cardio stations. Classes offered as well as before and after school programs for kids.”

11701 Brayton Dr, Anchorage“I have had knee and shoulder mobility and injury issues for about 15 years. I have now had two physical therapists compliment Sabrina for her acumen with these issues. My strength is also back to where it was when I was thirty and I am now nearing sixty. I can not say enough about Sabrina. I use to get injuries every year or so from working out. Now been with Sabrina for 3 years. I have not been injured and work out harder than ever. I have also worked with Nick in the past. He is also excellent.”

901 E Klatt Rd #6, Anchorage“What an awesome gym and experience! To begin, I have a Masters Degree in sports condition and stay up on current strength and conditioning research and techniques, and I’m a licensed cycling coach. I do lots of cycling and some strength training.I signed up for the 5 week Winterfit class to learn better techniques when using kettlebells. I’ve never really used them before, and I was intimated just thinking about being in a class…using kettlebells in front of other people! The horror!!After my first class, I realized all my fear and intimidation was completely unfounded. Owner and Coach Jody is so amazing! I felt like I was having individually lesson with him despite there being four other classmates. Jody coached all movements in a very relatable way and never judged anyone regardless of skill or ability. He was respectful of any physical limitations and adjusted movements accordingly. He knows and follows well established and safe exercise protocols and knows how to use an “easy” routine to get you a very solid workout. He made the most challenging workout very fun! I looked forward to every single class and it’d was the highlight of my day. Before this classes, I knew very little about kettlebells and had never learned how to properly use them. After the class, I understand the mechanics of using kettlebells in a safe manner to avoid injury. I know how to string together several different moves into a circuit or a complex and I understand how to use them to the benefit of my bicycling activities. If you are thinking about learning kettlebells to improve your abilities in a specific sport, to gain general fitness or just to do something new and fun, this is THE place to go for it.”

1450 W Northern Lights Blvd, Anchorage“i really love the Alaska club for women, it is always clearer that the West club , the people are friendly and thoughtful and if is just the best though to know that we women have a place where we can just come and let our hair down and be comfortable i. our own gym, without having men look at us especially when we don't feel our best.”
“6 weeks of sessions with a Trainer was the best investment I made for myself. Christian was great! He helped me greatly on my fitness journeyAlaska Club Summit”

8936 Lake Otis Pkwy, Anchorage“Okay so this is definitely the most uplifting Anytime I've ever had the fortune of going to. Visual encouragement is a lot more down-to-earth and more "human" [i.e. less corporate, if that makes sense?]. ●Painting on a trainer's door of a cute worker bee●Motivational octopus●handwritten motivational notes in the locker area●despite frequent member visits, the gym is cleaned often and kept tidy●Machines, in my experience, are all working well and are relatively new[or at least maintained enough to appear that way]◆◆also, it could just be the people here... but the vibe is really nice. You can just feel that we're all here to better ourselves. People are supportive without discomfort. The trainers are also so welcoming too, makes me feel like I have a 2nd family and I've only recently started going here. They recommend but aren't rigid, so it's adjustable to what I need as an individual as well. It's so endearing and I'm so grateful they handle everything so well.Such an excellent team managing this efficaciously adorable Anchorage spot? Thank you.”
“Seth, the manger for the club is amazing. Whatever this gentleman is getting paid, I'm sure it should be doubled. I understand other people have stated frustration in hours and the like, but I think they are doing a fantastic job, especially coming off something as challenging as COVID. Staff is welcoming, facility is always spotless, my workouts are always great. :)”

2700 A St, Anchorage“A really nice gym with a friendly staff. The equipment is in good condition and the locker rooms are clean and well maintained. The gym is usually not crowded and they have a good day rate if you are traveling. Highly recommended.”
“Good gym really clean! The staff is always working hard cleaning all the time. Equipment is always working hardly ever anything broken like some gyms. And it’s not to busy usually when I go.”
“It's one of my favorite locations of PF! Located in Midtown, the guests are pretty laid back at this location. The people that complain think of the time you're going in to work out, is it peak times? The Staff are amazing with customer service and made my fitness journey much easier to stay on track even on my bad days! I'm a regular, so most afternoon/night staff know me by now.”
“Go early and beat the crowds ?. However, during peak hours there's still access and availability of exercise machinery and treadmills. Clean, relaxed environment. Staff are very helpful and courteous! Only cons and why I gave 4? is the wifi sometimes does not connect. Maybe it's just me but recently had problems with that. Other than that, no issues!”

“Let me tell you something, this gym has not fixed the women’s locker room scale in MONTHS - but you know what weight they DO track? (They boast a frequently updated women’s PR board.)And THAT is why I love this gym. 5 stars every time! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Strong over skinny”
