Brandon there was absolutely wonderful (I called looking for a specific part they would not carry) but he still gave me some amazing insights to where I happen to mention river rocks we wanted to put in the tank I was just going to soak in the water along with the stuff that would be in the tank where be said you can heat oven at your LOWEST temp OR boil to make sure they thoroughly have been desanitized at the best (then do the soak once they have cooled) and even though I was told about the Temps axolotls live in he wanted to double check that we did know (they love to be very cold or survival can not happen) and also has known Chris who works some at sounds fishy for 15yrs and said if he says one thing he would trust his advice as he has had them for a long time. I was extremely happy when I got off the phone and he was VERY HELPFUL to some things I did not know. YOU deserve a raise now! Honestly every time I have ever come in to pet supplies the customer service is always 100% on key. Pet supplies your employees should get a raise now. They really help your business stay alive!

Dog House Pet Grooming
1419 McFarland Blvd E, TuscaloosaI have been taking my petite shih-tzu to A Dog House Grooming (a.k.a. Jonathan's) for about three years now. I have had shih-tzus for more than 15 years and have tried a lot of groomers because we have moved so many times. This is the first groomer where my dog has gotten a consistently beautiful cut every time. I can walk in, tell them to do it like last time, and she looks just as good as she did during her last grooming. When I pick her up, she looks great and is in a good mood, which is another sign that the staff is good to her. I like the fact you can walk in Mon-Thurs without an appointment, which is very convenient for my busy schedule. I haven't tried to schedule an appt. on Friday or Saturday, which they say are their busiest days. They also charge a reasonable price, especially compared to other groomers I have tried. The only thing I would suggest for improvement would be that the staff be a little friendlier toward their customers. They are great with dogs, but even though I go there every 5-6 weeks, they never seem to remember my name, or even my dog's name. There's no small talk at this place! But if you want to go to a groomer who puts the animals first and does a great job, then you should try them out.

I like this location because it has an elegant, upscale vibe, and it's typically less busy being further from UA campus. I've loved all the food I've gotten from here- strawberry & Nutella crepes, the California club sandwich, mac & cheese, baked oatmeal. Everything tastes fresh and high quality. The coffee drinks tend to be a little overly-sweet, even for me with my big sweet tooth. I recommend ordering "3/4 sweet" so they use less syrup- for me this is the perfect balance between the flavor of the coffee and the sweeteners :)

The atmosphere is laid back, with a more mature crowd. Not necessarily an older crowd, just not full of cookie cutter teeny boppers.
Great variety of beer on tap, I was happy with the assortment I ordered. One night we sat outside in the back, another night we sat in the main room reminiscing about school days.
I'll be more than happy to drink beer here again when I return
