“All in all this grocery store is pretty good. They have some stuff that the other local places don't have and they run some pretty good special (sale) prices. Really like the drink selection (not related to soda), lots of flavored waters and at a reasonable price. Meat selection always seems to be really fresh and reasonable prices. Also, typically, cuts don't seem to be overly fatty. Bakery department has a good selection of breads and dessert (cakes, cookies, ice cream cakes, etc) available and at similar prices as you would pay anywhere else.They have really good rates for the propane bottle exchange too (less than $17). Staff is always friendly and helpful and keep checkout lines moving quickly. Overall store cleanliness is always spot on. Not a lot of clutter or appearance that they need to do cleaning. Really like this store and continue shopping here.”

“Wonderful experience! Should've got the guys name but he was soooo helpful and patient with me and my fussing and fixing, adjusting to get a "passport" photo for a license renewal. Great experience considering getting passport photos is a drudgery much like getting a driver's license. They always look like mugshots and I'm convinced that the picture taker simply does not care about you, is felt and shows in the picture. But this guy did care, was present and kind and it shows in my picture!”
“I must say that I really ( really), likethis Pharmacy!I relocated to Alabama & I first used Hugh's, because it was in the hospital.It only took that one time, for me to continue using them because of the customer service!I have never felt so well taken care of by a Pharmacy!I'm also hearing impaired , so understanding is a bit difficult for me.....Everyone that I have come in contact with at Hugh's Pharmacy (after explaining that I read lips) has always looked directly at me,so I can read their lips & understand them, even the delivery person!Oh, Did I mention, they Deliver! ?I highly recommend this Pharmacy!I won't go anywhere else & I tell as many people as possible about them.If you want to get fast, efficient service and go somewhere they care about you, go to"Hugh's Pharmacy!" “If I could give this pharmacy a 10 star review I would. I wish I had gotten the pharmacist name but if you've ever interacted with him I'm sure you'll know who he is by what I'm about to say. This pharmacist is one of the sweetest and most caring people I've ever spoke to. He talked me through my new medication anxiety and explained how what I was using before was bad and probably harmful without an ounce of judgement in his voice. He hyped me up and reminded me that it's okay to fall asleep a little bit later(sleep anxiety and restless leg syndrome.) I know I'm laying it all out here but hands down literally the best.”

“Actually one of the best pharmacies I've used in this state next to the Leeds Walmart pharmacy. And I've lived between here and Birmingham for 3 years now. They actually answer the question you have. Not give you the answer they think MIGHT be right or just to please you for the moment. Most other pharmacies I've used have given me 5 different answers in a day about issues actually on their end instead of actually figuring out what the issue is with your meds and most of all the staff have been great and happy.”
“ALWAYS, ALWAYS treats me like I'm important to them and they ALWAYS do whatever they can to make sure that my prescriptions are filled on time. If there are ever any problems, they have it worked out before I ever arrive. Most places slowed down and had issues since the covid crisis. However, walmart pharmacy, in Gadsden specifically, somehow improved on their service and I just know that I won't have to worry about anything when it comes to my prescriptions. “My grandson 3 mos old ,needed a prescription filled, I had not used Walgreens, new to the area. The person at the window, first checked to see if they had the meds, then ask if I wanted to pick it up later. I explained I had him in the car with me. She immediately went into action, had the pharmacist fill the meds, set up a profile with my daughter’s insurance , I may have waited 15 minutes for all this to complete. Very thankful for the young lady at the window on this day. 2/5/2024”
