I was in there on a 1st date, we were the only ones there and he stayed open an extra 2 hours, without our knowledge, because we were still talking. 10/10 will definitely be back and will recommend Watkin's to anyone! Ended the afternoon with a slice of their cake. Large portion of warm cake with the best icing you have ever tasted. Don't miss out on this hidden gem! I was beyond impressed and will be returning. This blew your typical soup and salad cafe out of the water. If you are on your way to McAlister's Deli now is your time to turn around!!

49 Church St, Mountain BrookStopped here for lunch today had the white meat bone in chicken, chicken salad and mac n cheese..fried chicken was moist and a HUGE breast, curly fries were good and a welcomed change from regular crinkle cuts...chicken salad served on wheat was very flavorful and homemade, they also sell it in containers to bring home mac n cheese was good also not dry and very cheesy
