Danny, the fellow at Calera discount Tires, found a replacement for a good price and put on my spare tire. He had my replacement tire mounded and ready to go when we came back from lunch. Fast and friendly service that did not break the bank!”
“We were traveling to Panama for vacation when we had car trouble. Stressed out about being stuck we found this place with a Google search. A quick diagnostic check and they knew exactly what it was. They didn't have the part but "rigged" it up to run and pointed us to were to get thr part. Even gave us some tips to prevent us from getting scammed if it messes up again. Super friendly, highly recommend whether your traveling and have car trouble or if you live in the area.”

“I had a tire going bad while towing a big car hauler trailer while on I65. Something I rarely do so I was a bit nervous to begin with. I had to complete my 600 mile trip by a certain time. I pulled over at the 213 rest stop and googled tire stores. I just picked one. It wasn't Clanton Tire. The young lady on the phone at the other store told me they didn't have my size tire new or used but if I gave her a few minutes she'd make some calls. Amazingly she came through for me and the solution was Clanton. Randy greeted me and got right to it and I was on my way in 30 minutes. One thing's for sure, the Tire store community in Clanton work together and exhibit that southern hospitality we all cherish. Highly recommend.”
“I’ve used Denver at CKW twice now for two separate vehicles. Both diesels… first a 7.3 Powerstroke, and now a 6.7 Cummins.
With the 7.3, I couldn’t pinpoint an exact problem. Truck was a no start case. He throughly checked every circuit he could and did all he could to look for the issue. After troubleshooting everything he could think, I suggested replacing the Injector Drive Module. At that point, more so as a diagnostic. He was glad to give it a try. And that ended up being the fix. He spent a LOT of time and effort looking at the truck. But charged me not much more than the part itself cost. *BEYOND FAIR on pricing*
Recently, my 6.7 Cummins had a turbo code. Before jumping straight to replacing the turbo, I read that it would most likely be an actuator issue. So, I reached out to Denver and asked if I brought him the truck and the part if he wound be willing to install it for me. Beyond willing to. Dropped it off one evening, and it was ready to go only a couple days later. Again, *BEYOND FAIR pricing*!!
I will continue to use CKW. It is a small business with only the owner and a shop hand or two. So don’t expect things to be done same day. However his work is QUALITY. He takes his time for good reasons. Easy to deal with and doesn’t give you the run around like bigger shops do. All around great guy, and a great business. Very knowledgeable.”

“I broke down near mcsweeney I was traveling from Florida to missouri, I took my truck to them, and let me tell you all chevrolet dealers should be forced by GM to send someone to this dealership for training, this is absolutely one of the best dealers I have ever dealt with, I was there all day they made sure I had doughnuts and coffee for breakfast, had chips, crackers and lady name Zoey checked on me constantly thur the day and she also brought me lunch, I honestly felt like I was part of there family, every dealer needs a Zoey and I truly mean that, Zoey and Craig the service writer got me a ride to my camper craig couldn't finish my truck that night but got it done and picked me back up because all I could do was walk, when back at dealer was expecting a big bill and it was probably the most reasonable price I've ever paid, so with all this said I am going to write GM and tell them the great service I received from Craig and Zoey (Mcsweeny auto) and they should be consider a training ground, Zoey, Craig, and Mcsweeny auto group Thank You for everything God Bless the whole group
