Jefferson Credit Union is a non-profit financial cooperative, owned by its members and governed by a group of Volunteers. JCU organized in 1928 and has been serving its members since that time. Anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Jefferson County or the surrounding contiguous counties can join. These include Bibb, Blount, Shelby, St. Clair, Tuscaloosa and Walker Counties.
