“I cannot state how phenomenal Mayer is, ESPECIALLY Amanda. Like any reasonable human who knows how busy businesses like this can be, I called ahead to schedule an actual appointment with her to ensure she would be able to help me pick out all of the lighting for my new house. After meeting with her, I easily understood why she came so highly recommended by my contractor. She never once made me feel rushed or like I was taking up too much of her time. She actually spent more than 3 hours patiently going through every available light fixture they could get that fit the design of my house & what I was looking for. That is exactly why I would only ever buy my lights from Mayer now because they understand the true value in excellent customer service! It may be a lost art many places, but Mayer is fortunate to have staff who still deliver it each & every time. Not only did she help me that day, but she has continued to help with any issue that came up after, like needing to swap out a couple of lights after a change was made in building the house or figuring up exactly how much space I need in between lights while hanging up the string lights I bought through them for the patio. She is not only a phenomenal representative for Mayer, but also just a phenomenal human in general. Thanks to Mayer, I have the most beautiful lights I could ever ask for in my new house that not only work with the space & design, but just makes my heart happy every time I look at them. I will forevermore send everyone I hear mentioning needing lighting to Mayer!!”

“They have a large assortment of appliances and have been in business for a long time. Price shop Lowes first to see if they are competitive. I was not very impressed with the customer service. They will deliver, install and pickup your old appliances for $60. Very good selection of stainless appliances. Highly recommended to support local businesses but beware they are not a discount store.”

“I had an A/C unit capacitor that went bad on a Friday and needed the part "right now" VS calling a HVAC service tech to come out and charge 400 dollars for a 20 dollar part. The people at Johnstone Supply were helpful, friendly, and appeared knowledgeable on what they were selling. I brought the bad capacitor into the store and the employee took a quick look at it, went to a shelf and picked out the replacement part. It's refreshing to see employees who still know something about the parts and what they stock instead of relying totally on what the computer tells them.I would recommend them to anyone in the area!”

To her credit... she totally supported the employee's. All the while fully understanding how implementing these new safety measures were stressing her workers and the customers out. I want to give her a BIG shout-out for supporting her staff and the company policies. Her name is Ms. SARAH. I have probably spent thousands of dollars at this store; and I can safely say, by now I have a very good feel for the management style and employee attitudes throughout the organization. I have run into many an employee with technical questions for which I have always obtained a cogent/correct answer. Mostly from Mr. PHIL, Ms. Patty and Mr. JOSE. Keep up the outstanding service and don't let the turkeys get you down!!!”

“Absolutely love the Aaron’s Dothan store! I used to avoid Aaron’s but a family member told me a new manager took over. I decided to stop in because I was in need of a new refrigerator and stove. I just bought a house and the appliances that came with the sale were probably from the 1980s/90s. It was time for a change. I met Rick and his team and they were just as sweet as can be and very informative. Thank you so much for helping a gal out!”

“I'm going to go ahead and say this right off the bat. There is no tap to pay. You have to have a physical card. You will get no rewards on your tap to pay cards like Apple pay and Google pay. So keep that in mind if you think you're getting incentives or you're getting a percentage back.This really is my go-to home improvement store because they cost about the same as Lowe's and there's not a hardware store in this town that's easy to get to. I mean for as bad as north side mall shopping center is concerned with that entire weird parking lot, That was never really updated to match the current layout since the original layout was like 60 years ago, when it was a real mall.But it's a lot easier to get into than north side Lowe's. There's a lot of stuff that the prices don't match in store like they do online. In store could be a clearance item at a 50% off price but online is the regular price and it's not on clearance.Getting in and out of the store itself is not really difficult. There's never any small baskets up front anymore so you always have to use a shopping cart. Getting out of the checkout area is hit or miss. You're going to find one cashier there who is available for large and long objects, but everything else is going to have to go through the self check out and sometimes that just gets weird because you know how self-checkout is.So I wish home Depot would come up with the times. Other than that they normally have what I'm looking for. If not, delivery is typically free and arrives within a week.”
