“I love to shop Publix's BOGO items. The shelves had areas where products listed as BOGO were empty. I haven't experienced that at any other Publix. When we were ready to checkout, there was only one line open for those with more than 10 items, but there were 2 open (and empty) for 10 items or less. The line for more than 10 items was LONG. They did finally open a second line but the two "less than 10 items" didnt move.”
“I love aldi for easy no frills quick trips. I can't stand going in Kroger or Wal-Mart these days. Too many "shoppers" with the oversize racks in the way of ACTUAL shoppers. Plus aldi aisles are spaced far apart and the prices are 100% better.”
“I like shopping here over Publix sometimes, just gives you that oldtime grocery store feeling, that Kroger or Publix just can't offer. Plus the people here are super nice and friendly. Though selection of some things isn't the greatest.”

“The catfish special(on Fridays) is absolutely phenomenal. Hands down, best in town, without having to wait in a restaurant or pay restaurant prices. BIG piece of fish, hefty potato wedges, cole slaw, and hush puppies.”
“I was desperately in search of a particular product. I spent hours driving around Huntsville and Madison looking for it. I decided to call this store to see if they had it in stock after I saw this store listed on Instacart. The store associate went to look for the product for me and told me they had it! I was able to get what I was looking for. The store associate was very helpful! Thank you so much for your help.”

“I was told to go next door to use the bathroom at the Laundromat. The lady was quite perturbed that he sent me over there. I would avoid using the bathroom there but the store is nice and clean and the staff is nice.”
“This dollar general is closest to my home and its the newest I know of. They have very different items than other stores and are my exclusive supplier of candy, and they sell ciggs for my fiance! One stop shop. Toys for my 4 year old, cards, groceries.... Like half and half for my coffee! Not all the stores have that y'all. Shop here, they are friendly too, unusual for this business. But these girls are kind people.”
“THE BEST customer service I’ve ever experienced ! I walked into the store 15 minutes before closing & was greeted immediately & felt so welcome in this store which is rare in a dollar store when most times you’re running in & running out never really paying attention to the workers or them paying much attention to you other than scanning your items so it stood out to me immediately when the DG employee went out of his way to acknowledge me & assure me if I needed help finding anything he would do his best ! I NEVER write reviews online & most reviews you see or hear about are negative ones , we are so quick to bash someone online when something bad happens at a business & want to publicly shame a business for their mistake but very rarely do you see anyone go out of their way to praise a business or their employee when they deserve the credit so that’s exactly what I’m doing now .. MANUEL was the cashier at the store tonight & he’s the kind of human this world needs more of , kindness is an understatement when trying to describe how this man treated me tonight ! Whoever raised that young man done an excellent job cause I just pray my children grow up to be as respectful & kind as he was ! If there’s ever been someone who I felt like deserved employ of the miners (if DG even does that) MANUEL deserves that title for the rest of the year !!”
“This particular Kroger is pretty convenient to the hotel that I stay at when I am in the Decatur, Alabama area. It is in a good sized shopping plaza with several other large stores and several smaller businesses. The staff was friendly and the store had the usual selection one would expect from a Kroger supermarket. I grabbed a few of their flavored sparkling waters and I also bought their spicy beer mustard. I have to say that I was quite impressed after trying this supermarket brand of mustard.All in all, I find this a good location of Kroger and would definitely recommend here.”

“Since the remodel, it has been a challenge navigating to find products that are moved to new locations. Mostly, it's a very clean and functional store. The parking lot is still congested, needing more space and handicap parking.”
“I generally love coming into any Dollar General store, but this one seems to be short handed and overstocked, a tad messy. I'm sure I just caught them on a bad day but it looked like they needed some more help in the store. I did score some super fresh Clover Valley hot dog buns and a handful of grocery items. Their Yellow Dots were out everywhere but very little signage marking them 50% off- actually the sign said Mens Apparel and Shoes but the entire long row was a huge mixture of yellow dot items. I was a smidge disappointed not to find any calligraphy books but that's a personal hunt of my own. I was just told that people are finding various Calligraphy books at the dollar store but didn't say which one. We have so many dollar stores that I feel like I'm on a personal treasure hunt. Not a total loss bc my friend took the opportunity to buy some necessities the he needed, as we both found things we could use or needed at home it wasn't a bad stop in our day. I won't object to stopping in again, its a pretty big store and has a huge variety of things to buy. Our cashier was very efficient and helpful offering to double bag one of mine that was heavy with glass jars of sauce. A very kind and polite guy, he was a pleasure to deal with.”
“I always come here to get their bread. If you love sweet bread, coming here is a must. The bread is affordable, and the quality is great! I recommend the conchas to everyone. The store also has produce, drinks, spices and seasoning, a corn stand on weekdays, and much more!”
