Yellowhammer RV Campground, located at exit 208 off I-65 in Clanton, Alabama, is under new management and part of Summit Homes by Timberline Inc. The campground is undergoing remodeling and construction projects to provide a fun, safe, and relaxing experience for its guests. Necessary repairs to the dam for the on-site lake are currently in progress, and the lake is in the process of refilling. Improvements are also planned for the lots, roads, cable quality, and the addition of a dog park, fire pits, and enhanced communal areas. Guests can enjoy a clean and quiet facility, with convenient access to nearby amenities like Shoney's. While some long-term residents may not adhere to the 5 mph speed limit, the campground offers easy spots and is considered a safe and affordable option for travelers, with many guests returning multiple times.
We travel all over the country and love this place !!! So convenient and with just the fan running sooo quiet. The bathroom and amenities are amazing. Would highly recommend!!!

Just an overnight stop over, but the property was right off the highway. The instructions were clear and the site itself was perfect for a quick in and out. We also used the facilities which were pristinely clean and easily accessible.
I would definitely stay again.

For an overnight stay, this works well for us. Sights are level and convenient to I-65. Has a lake and dog area.
