“Maurice's is a clothing company that I have only learned about recently. They have a bunch of different styles and accept all women of all shapes. I am so happy to see that more and more companies are broadening their horizons and bringing in clothing sizes and styles for more than the average shaped woman. This store is located in Bessemer in the Promenade shopping center. It is located right in the middle of Shoe Dpt. and Kay's Jewelry. Coming inside the store, it seems like the more fashionable clothing is located in the front of the store, whereas the uglier and out of season clothing is located further back. Trendy clothing for the time being is patriotic clothing and they had a lot of it, bandana like clothing styles and tank tops for the upcoming Memorial Day weekend. As you walk further into the store there is a section devoted to jeans too. All sorts of jeans for any and all occasions. Way in the back of the store there is a small section for plus sized women. It might be small, but at least they are trying to incorporate it into their company. Most companies won't even go that far. My friend and I decided to try to hit the clearance racks and honestly, it wasn't anything that great. Everything on the racks was $25 or higher. I don't consider that too much of a sale. But again at least they are trying. Also I noticed a lot of their sale items were holiday themed. Overall, my experience here was pretty good.”

“Cato’s is one of my favorite places to go shopping when I’m looking for certain things. It carries everything that a lady needs from active/dressy dresses, blouses, pants, jeans, skirt, maxi’s, shorts, etc, jewelry, purses, underwear, sleepwear, and all accessories!
