It is very well located, very close to the main street and the Yukon River. When you want the room to be cleaned it is important to put on the bowtie, otherwise you will not find the room clean.Rooms: The rooms have a microwave, mini refrigerator. Outside the rooms is the self-service laundry and ice machine.Safety: Very safe when walking, the only dangerous thing is when there is ice on the sidewalks.Walkability: It is close to the Yukon River, cafes, restaurants and souvenir shops.Food & drinks: Inside the hotel is the Tonys restaurant, which is delicious. They open it from 4 pm to 9:30 pm.

A quiet and comfortable place to rest while doing activities in the town of Whitehorse, the room service is very good, they are spacious and very comfortable, there is a drinks machine in the lobby and a very complete restaurant where you can order takeout .Rooms: Very comfortable and spacious, they have a microwave, refrigerator and television, the heating helps a lot in cold weather. They provide you with soaps and shampoo.Walkability: It is very well located and allows you to reach several key places in the town.Food & drinks: Tonys Pasta restaurant is very good, they don't open on Sunday but if you arrive before they close they allow you to order takeaway. The food is very good.

They don't wash the pillows well, they smelled like they were used and the worst thing was I asked for a blanket because of how cold it was and they sent me a dirty one, I understand that they were overwhelmed with people but ?@&*

Booked this The Sternwheeler Hotel & Conference Centrein Whitehorse, Yukon CAN for the purpose of their free shuttle service. I tried to call the hotel dozens of time with the phone number listed on their website to provide my pick up info. None of the call attempts work. Then did the a dozen messaging from their website to ask them to call me back. Still no call back or email back after 2+ weeks. The hotel basically take your money and don't provide any service. You might as well freeze to death and still not get any respond from them.

This hotel has been updated and remodeled from when Westmark owned it. The desk personnel were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and modernized. Our stay was quiet even though it looked as if they were very busy. Parking can be a big problem. There are not enough free spaces around the building, so make sure to get out and move your vehicle before 9 am when the meters start.

There are so many quaint places run by locals with a friendly and warm welcome. . . Just go elsewhere. It's not an authentic experience in either the hotel or restaurant. It's run by some folks from India and the service and mood around this place is one of pinching pennies. It's ok. But If it's the only room left in town on my way in, I keep going. Plenty of country B&B's, cabins or the next town.Rooms: There ok. But nothing good or great.Walkability: It's right in the center of town.Food & drinks: The restaurant is grossly overpriced for the food quality and overall experience.

No towel racks in bathroon. No in-room coffee, blamed on supplier and not on poor planning. AC blew on my bed 1 meter away.Staff pleasant.

Not sure why there are negative reviews. I stayed here for a week, I am visiting from Toronto and the room was very clean. If you were expecting it to be 5 stars then don’t come to Yukon, this is the wrong place for you. Everything here is simple.

After hanging up on me, putting me on hold 3x at 5 minutes & more, They booked me for the wrong night. What a useless reservation and front desk staff takes these calls. Waste of my time, ruined a birthday gift and left me to set up a tent on my first night back from an extended backcountry trip. Never will I attempt to give this company a dime of business, book at your own risk.

Realistically I can't give any hotel in Whitehorse 5 stars because they all smell like 1989 (pretty much stayed at them all by now). That being said, if you're gonna stay somewhere in Whitehorse this is probably your best bet. Also seems to be the choice of every tour group in town so that has to be a good indication of which hotel is best.Downside is the place is flanked on all sides by intoxicated locals most time of the day and an agressive amount in the summer evenings. It's less than a block away from the 202 bar and 98 bar.4/5 stars relative to Whitehorse.Probably closer to 3/5 in reality.

Stayed in two different room with a few weeks in between. While perfectly clean, the rooms do smell like feet.Friendly staff and a good central location.within Whitehorse.

It was ok. Stuff here is terrible so don't expect help here. Gym is available. Very small but still it's gym. Washing machines and dryer available but soap not available (sold out). Rooms comfortable, not very spacious, good WiFi but AC terrible. Good dryer. Pretty good dinner.
