They have something for everyone here! The prices are very fair, too. The woman running the till even gave me suggestions on the best places in town for dinner!

A really unique place for souvenirs, where you could spend a lot of time perusing the antiques. A lot of them come with a price tag, as you'd expect, but you could still easily find cheaper items. The shopkeeper was happy to give me explanations of the items. Ended up buying a Klondyke (Yes, with a "y"!) '84 World Gold Panning Championship coin for my dad, who likes collecting stamps & coins. They've also got lots of gold-related products!

Best little shop in Dawson City, hands down! Wonderful, locally-owned bookstore with lots of great Yukon souvenirs in addition to gifts, toys, cards, magazines, candy, etc. Love this place.

Maximilian's is a fantastic shop with a wide variety of goods for purchase. My favourite thing to purchase there is books! Marianne is constantly bringing in new and diverse books, including tonnes of amazing indigenous and POC authors. Also a huge selection of fun puzzles!

My Inuit wife looked at a book briefly and placed it back on the shelf. This is a normal shopper behaviour. When she went to the til to make her purchase, she was questioned by the cashier about what she did with the book.. Shameful to assume because of someone's skin colour they would be a potential thief. I doubt a white woman in the same outfit would have received the similar treatment.
