My wife and I had just pulled into Worland Sunday afternoon, we are here upland bird hunting with two French Brittany Spanials, and my female Brittany suddenly had severe abdominal pain 30 minutes after eating. She had rapid breathing, drooling, and was clearly in intense pain. I was panicked and thought she might have a twisted stomach and terrified I could not get her into a vet on a late Sunday afternoon. Remarkably, I called Cloud Peak Vetinarinary Services, left a message on their after hours emergency line and the on-call vet, Dr. Bob, called me back minutes later. To make a long story short, I was in the vet office 20 minutes later and got my Brittany the treatment needed to resolve the situation.
