It's not the largest commissary, but it meets most people's needs. The workers are friendly and willing to help.

Selection could be better

This is a smaller commissary than what I'm used to. Some of the produce is beautiful, and priced right, others are not. They have a decent dairy section, but the butcher said they don't have any organic meat, which is a bummer. They also charge for a " bag fee" which is around 4% of your total bill.

I retired after 21 years in the Army and try to shop at any military base or post that I can. So every time my wife and I are in Cheyenne, we do our shopping at the FE Warren Commissary. It's definitely worth the savings and you can get pretty much anything that you are looking for.

Store was exceptionally clean and everyone I talked to was really pleasant and nice. The meats are especially cheaper than downtown for sure.

I don't know why I'm even putting a review in for a store the average person can not even shop at. Located on the base, only the military and veterans will shop there. I have to admit or let the secret, that's not a secret, out, it appears to be a cheaper and better grocery store than some I deliver to. The people that work there are absolutely fantastic people. They are always friendly and patient. Trust me on the patient part. When I first became a vendor for them, I messed up a lot, and they always stayed understanding. Once again, good people who care make the difference. I'm truly sorry that not everyone is able to experience this wonderful staff. So if you're asking why not a 5 star, then? Well, I have my reasons, and like anything dealing with the military, I'd tell ya, but then I'd have to...well, you know ?.

Produce is usually old and dried out. Most of the dairy products are expired and there is always at least one bag of cheese that has mold in it. Also the self check cashiers, harass you for your I.D. even though they have literally no right to ask anyone for their ID and the base 100% ID check to get on. Very easily the worst commissary in the DoD. Go to Walmart.
