After all the hype, I was a little disappointed with this restaurant. The menu was quite limited and there was nothing particularly special about the ambience. Maybe it would be better on a different night. (We were there on a Sunday evening.)

Best food in Jackson! Try the huckleberry cosmos they are great! This was the best meal and service that we had in Jackson. The whole family had a wonderful experience. We wanted to shop in the gift shop after dinner but the shop was closing. The young lady saw that the kids were disappointed so she offered to open back up for us even though she was leaving. Great people great food.

The food was ok, for ok food I expect average prices. A hamburger was $25 with $10 for an extra patty. My side salad I added to my entree was $14 and served at the same time as my meal. Then they charge you a 1% fee to pay for kitchen staff living expenses and sales tax and the gratuity they “suggest” 22% as your waitress watches you fill out the small computer is ON TOP of the tax and extra 1% tax. So I am tipping you on this tax? The server did an ok job and the food was alright but the price was very high compared to the food portions.

The Mangy Moose is simply a must place to go in Jackson Hole! Great history, great food, great drinks, great service, great ambience, great people! We especially thank Nikki for her amazing hospitality!

Excellent experience, as usual! Staff was friendly and professional, food was just as we wanted, and we sat on the quieter side of the restaurant (which was perfect for dinner). The decor is really fun, too!

We love the Moose. We go back every year on our annual ski trip due to the quality of the food and the experience. Great place. Sad they took the bison meatloaf off the menu, though. That was a gem. The tomato/basil soup, if you're lucky, as the soup of the day is always great.

Nachos, fried green tomatoes, and lava cake were delish!!! Ribs were a little dry but flavor was great. Mashed sweet potatoes were fab as well! We had a great time and our server did a great job with our large party.

Great food and service, went there twice for dinner! Easy to book a table, lots of options on the menu and variety of drinks. A little crowded when all the tables were full but didn't get excessively loud.

Our server, Nick, was the best. He was knowledgeable about the menu (food and bev) and made great recommendations. Everything tasted delicious and the vibe was low key and casual. Perfect for after a day in the slopes.

Great real American restaurant! I loved everything about it ! Excellent service , great food , tasteful decorations!!! I wish there were more restaurants like this ? I would always come back when at Jackson hole ski resort and I highly recommend it !

My son and love the Moose. Last year and this year we have gone several times during our one week trip. And my Dad used to take me back in the 80s during our trips. Was awesome then too!
