Built in the Flemish Revival style, the 13,748 square foot mansion known as Trail End provides an intriguing glimpse into life during the period 1913 to 1933, primarily as seen through the eyes of the John B. Kendrick family. The mansion is open for self guided tours from April 1st to December 14th.
It's incredible to feel instantly as if you've stepped back in time, but that's immediately the sense you have crossing the threshold. A beautiful surprise, easy to get to/walk to from downtown Sheridan and well worth adding to your visit.

It is a nice house, but nothing special. The lady at the desk was very nice and helpful. It is a self guided tour. I much prefer a guided tour of historic houses.
