Being new in town, and, somewhat, a thrift and antique store junkie, I have been trying to go to this place since I moved to the area a few months ago. FINALLY, I realized that the FRONT door is forever locked and is NOT the way in to the tiny little facility with not THAT much to browse through. The people seemed friendly and it's nice of the Church (my latter denomination until they got too progressive) to have a nice and clean little store. But it might be for others, I just was not impressed.

Not impressed with the new pricing... Clothes are cheaper at Walmart than here.

The Choir Loft is an excellent place to get second hand items. The people that work there are always so kind and helpful. The prices are more than fair.

The Choir Loft is a little hidden Gem in Rawlins!
It is located in the same building as Kraft Hall. It is the side entrance that is right beside the Aspen House. It is a small store, but there are LOADS of donated items!
It is ran by St. Thomas Episcopal Church, by volunteers. They are open very limited days and hours. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and only from 1-4pm. The people that volunteer there are all so friendly and just sincerely kind! Even The Rev. Karen Buckingham donates her time to work here!
All of there items are donated to them and then they are cleaned and organized into the shop very nicely! This makes finding sizes and types of items MUCH easier!
there are 3 sections...the main one has the Adult Clothing, there is the 'Kids Corner" that has all children's items and clothing infant on up.
and there is a housewares section that has dishes, bedding, books, movies, and accessories like handbags, and belts. The shoes are located in the housewares section as well.
They are constantly getting donations and rotating inventory!
The prices are AMAZING! Everything is priced on set item scale. There is a board in there saying how much items are by type. Example: Children's clothing items are .50 cents, Adult clothing is 1.00, books .10 Cents ect... This is used as a standard, But if you are in need and cannot afford some of the items they will work with you. Very kind, generous and helping organization!
When I plan a trip to Rawlins I try to coordinate it with the days and times they are open so I can pop in there.
I have found many nice items there at very LOW costs! If you like thrift stores (I am personally a thrift store addict!) then check this place out! You will be glad you did!
