The small town of Mountain View is lucky to have their own home-grown grocery store/hardware store/pharmacy with Benedict's. I last visited Benedict's 10 years ago when the entrance way was decorated with taxidermy and the fresh veggie and prepared food offerings were slim. On this occasion I went in just hoping for some canned soup and tuna, and I was very pleasantly surprised by their renovations and much updated offerings! I especially loved their fresh vegetable and fruit section which also had prepared salads and fruit cups. I was able to stock up on single-serving size items that were fresh (and not covered in plastic!), and was also impressed by the variety of artisanal and organic products throughout the market. What a transformation! I will definitely give Benedict's more business on future trips!

It has been so nice having an ACE Hardware in town! They have a great selection and the staff are always friendly. The prices may be slightly higher but it beats having to spend money on gas to drive out of town. The convenience is definitely worth it! We have made many trips to ACE while working on our house and their inventory has not disappointed.

ACE Hardware in Mountain View is super customer friendly and has everything you'd hope to find in a Hardware store. I needed a 2"x10"x12' trimmed for steps to a certain dimension and was really pleased when the owner's son did a great job in helping and trimmed it perfectly. Our Bridger Valley community loves Ace and the Benedict family that own it. Thank you. 5/5 Stars.

The store and people are great. When they opened the store I could call homedepot and at times the prices were lower. Lately their 2x4x8s are not that great and about $2 each more than homedepot and sheetrock is$3 more than homedepot. I don't have to buy much to make up the difference in fuel. I appreciate having a local store but the prices drive us out of town.
