Teton Mountaineering is a great store with an amazing selection of outdoor and adventure clothing and gear, specializing in mountaineering equipment. Servicing the outdoor community since 1971, it offers Alpine Touring, Split Boards, and Telemark Skis in the winter, and climbing, backpacking, and trailrunning gear in the summer. The staff is super friendly, really helpful, very knowledgeable, and not pushy on sales. They carry a wide range of camping, hiking, and climbing equipment, including brands not found at big box retailers. Rental prices are affordable and the rental equipment is kept clean. They provide good service and good advice for all backcountry pursuits.
Excellent selection and great staff. Loved hearing their stories and their expert advice. We were able to get some specialized climbing shoes and added some other needed equipment. Staff was helpful without ever being pushy. Really great local store we recommend checking out.
