We were blown away by the rec center. Our kid was dying to go to a pool while we visited this week and we found out about the center. The pool was incredibly warm and clean, so kid friendly with a family locker room, free locks to borrow, free floaties and pool noodles for kids, two water slides, very clean and so affordable… it was fantastic. I wish we knew about this so much sooner! Thank you for having us!

Pool is nice, steam room is nice and hot, sauna is ok, hot tub was lukewarm. I’m looking forward to the new construction. I hope the facility is improved.

Was visiting here over the summer from California. My daughter left her AirPods in the dressing room. She didn't realize that was a possible place that she could have left them until we were driving back home. Once we got back to California, I called and the front desk girl was very polite and confirmed that they were there. She passed off the AirPods to her supervisor who arranged for them to be mailed back to us at our house in California. They were so friendly and accommodating. I doubt anyone around where we live would be so helpful. I love small towns for this reason!

Unfortunately this place is funded by the public but not open to the public, I drove ten miles to get here, they told me it’s booked for some out of town swim team, how can you book an entire rec center and not allow the members of the public with a punch card to get in. It should not be booked, it is property of the public.

Great place to spent time with the kids when the weather outside is not cooperating

David at the front desk was very helpful. The facility is okay, but David is really what makes this place great. Go David!

The shower we paid for hadn't been cleaned after the last person, but we just wanted a shower, so we made sure not to touch no more than we had to , but other than that looks like a nice place in the swimming area

Terrible experience with the family swim. We showed up at 3:30 and were told that the family swim started at 4 and that the slides would be open. We paid and entered. As soon as we got in the pool area we were told the large slide would not open. We had 4 teenagers with us and they had no desire to swim in the baby pool that is 4 feet deep. Majority of the families wanted the larger slide open. We were told they were short staffed that they had to have one life guard per pool. There were 2 lifeguards on duty and two pools but instead of them both working the pools they took 30 min shifts while one sat in the office and the other watched the pool. They weren't short staffed but unwilling to both be standing at the pools at the same time. Kids and parents begged the lead guard, Simon to open the slide for even 15 minutes but he was unwilling. He claimed there had to be a back up guard (but he was gone out of site for over 30 mins and he didn't have a walkie-talkie) so if there had been an emergency, he wouldn't have even known. Even worse, I voiced my frustration to the front desk and told them that families at least deserved a heads up because we would not have paid and went inside if we had known. 2 minutes after I shared my concern a large family of 8 came in (mostly tall teens) and were again NOT TOLD that the big pool was closed. The lap pool was completely closed to swim team, the tube slide was closed, and the basketball court was being used by softball so the only thing available was a baby pool.

Terrible experience with the swim area. None of the pools were open except the baby pool and no one told us. 2 lifeguards on duty but they both weren't willing to work the pool deck at the same time. One had to be sitting at the desk in the back corner of pool area. We came with multiple teens and they were unwilling to turn on big slide for even 15 minutes.

The Rec Center used to be a great place for kids to enjoy the water. It is also important that, at a minimum, they get comfortable in the water. It may save their lives someday. It is inexplicable how one of the wealthiest counties in the U.S. can’t figure out how hire a full complement of Lifeguards. Some will say it is a complicated situation…to hire Lifeguards; either way, it is a failure and the kids are the ones losing out. There is lots to do there but the pool was the reason we went. 1 star

Not a bad price for a good swim, hot tub, sauna and steam room.
