Chris was amazing. We had a panic moment when after a 2 hour drive from Logan when our engine light turned on. The car started shaking and had me in a panic. I’m definitely not a car guy and was very worried when we pulled into auto zone. Chris essentially said “say no more” he diagnosed a potential reason for the problem and put on his coat to come out into the snow to replace the coil for me. He explained everything he was doing and taught me more about my car. All the while holding a casual conversation as well. My car is now running smooth and saved me a huge amount of stress, time, and money. I’m in your debt Chris. Thank you so much!

OK I just wanna start off by saying that I am female and extremely automotive-Ly challenged!! I hate going into more male dominated stores because I understand that I am an absolute imbecile when it comes to certain things, and it feels very intimidating for me to walk into a building, knowing that I'm probably going to be judged very harshly, or looked at as a dumb, incompetent, female.(also just to add, I have my bachelors in biochemistry, so you can take that for what it's worth to judge my overall intelligence.) I had to leave Wisconsin because of an emergency situation where my safety was at risk, and because of that, waiting out the winter to make it back to California when it's more safe to drive in the summer was absolutely not an option.In my entire life I have never ever had to drive through snowy conditions. It is one thing to talk about being scared about driving in the snow, and it's something completely different to get stuck in a median, and have all of those fears amplified, and validated. [SHOUT OUT. To random guy 1&2 that helped me tow my car out of the median when I got stuck last night and was balling my eyes out thinking my babies and I are going g to freeze to death!!] needless to say, I was very, VERY much dreading walking into AutoZone today to ask about the chains that I need for my tires so that I don't get stuck again. But When I walked in, I was Very pleasantly surprised to be greeted by the sweetest gentleman who was so friendly, never made me feel intimidated, or stupid at all!! ( even though my questions probably sound reasonably dumb to someone who has lived In winter weather) I know it's a liability issue, so corporate America doesn't let employees work on/help customers with their vehicles (even to show someone how to properly put chains on) {which also says to me and should to everyone else that corporations only care about the money you give them, and they could not care any less about your safety/well-being, but I digress}which really sucks for someone who has 0 experience with everything. So you can imagine my absolute horror, and frustration thinking that I'm just going to end up destroying my car on accident. I was so anxious, and scared about it, that the people in the next state over, could probably hear my heartbeat!! Regardless of any store policies, Im so grateful, and really really appreciate that nick still walked out to my car in the freezing cold to make sure I had a basic understanding of how they should be put on, and what they'll look like if and when I put them on correctly! He prioritized my safety , and was able to make me feel comfortable and confident about putting them on myself without even having to touch my vehicle! Nick deserves a raise, and is an exemplary employee,he should set the standard, and is a shining example of how your employees provide customer service!! GIVE THIS GUY A RAISE AUTO ZONE!!!! So THANK YOU AGAIN NICK!! You were awesome!! I'm so happy to get to leave Wyoming with such an amazing impression of the people here! Like seriously everyone I've met in Wyoming has been so kind, friendly, and so selflessly helpful!! Thank you Nick, and thank you to the people of Wyoming! You guys have been soawesome!l I'm leaving Wyoming with a full heart, a smile, so much appreciation, a motivation to pay forward all the kindness I've received here, and genuinely good memories, instead of a burning fear and hatred for my circumstances, the state, and any weather conditions under a solid 70 degrees!!! I am a true Californian after all! Keep your fingers crossed for me that I actually bake it back safely lol -Zoey VonMay

The staff here ,in particular Chris Nick and Zander, are the most helpful amazing people.Chris helped us figure out the exact parts we needed, was extremely knowledgeable in crossover parts when they didn't have that exact part and was helpful with many questions advice and necessary tools.Nick also helped with lots of knowledge and tips. Was truly surprised with his knowledge base that he's only in high school. No matter how often we came into the store he never wavered with patience compassion and assistance. He even mediated and interpreted a misunderstanding and communication breakdown between my mechanic partner and my no clue self while we were replacing a belt.Xander was our first point of contact with the store and wow what an impression. He allowed us to have our car towed to the lot, reassured us it wouldn't get towed right away if at all and allowed us to repair it there. He also was super patient and friendly throughout the 2 day ordeal of getting the car fixed.There was also a young lady who although unfortunately I cannot recall her name was super sweet and helpful.It's none of my business but if it were up to me these guys would be getting a raise.I haven't had this good of an experience with autozone before now.I will never again question the kindness of strangers and most of that is thanks to these wonderful people.

Store 1213, the guys name is actually Chris. He didn't even hesitate when he saw my car. Just wanted to find out what the problem was and started diagnosing. I think he should be a mechanic. I was going to buy AC recharge. But he noticed it was still working and explained about high altitude affecting the system.When the phone rings and someone's just yapping, Chris calls out, and they answer. Excellent customer care.This is the best autoparts I've been to in all my life.I just looked around, and even the parking lot looks clean. This place is awesome.

We drove to Evanston today and my car was not driving right. With the check engine light on we limped into the parking lot. Chris took a reading of my car and got the code. Chris was amazing and went above and beyond to help us. If I could give more stars I would. He helped fix the problem and sent us on our way. I’m sure he saved us so much money! We are not mechanical at all and he was extremely kind and helpful! This guy deserves some high praise because the level of customer service he gave us was very rare!! Steve helped us out and got us all taken care of. He saw us out in the parking lot just before close but made sure we were taken care of before the store closed. He helped us diagnose the issue and got us the parts we needed to be on our way.

Chris is amazing! We were driving through town and our AC was not working. Working on only the driver side. Chris helped us get it recharged and solved the problem. The BMW dealership in Salt Lake estimated $5,000 to repair. Autozone and Chris saved me $4950 and helped me repair it in 10 minutes. I think I found my new best friend.

Had issues with my gears shifting erratically and then completely hitting 0 RPMs and decelerating on the highway on a cross country trip. I just happened to stop in Evanston WY and decided to call and go to AutoZone to get some help. Chris at AZ was super helpful, ran a ECM diagnostic and was able to pinpoint to the potential problem: loose battery terminal connector. Chris helped to tighten the connection and the whole experience saved me money (the diagnostic was free and no charge for tightening the battery connector), alleviated my anxiety that my car would have the issue the whole drive, and I learned to pay attention to the terminal fit at the next battery change. Chris also made sure to follow up a few hours later: my car no longer erratically bounces from 1k to 6k RPMs when I press on the gas. Great experience! If you are in the area, definitely stop by this AZ for your car issues first before heading to a mechanic!

We stopped in Evanston because of charging system warning light came on. The friendly folks at Autozone diagnosed the problem, even in the middle of a rainstorm. Thank, Walker, it was great to meet you and your kindness was appreciated.
