What a great experience. I booked a half day fishing trip with Cut Throat Fly Shop my Guide was Jake Vanleer I could not be happier with these guys. I highly recommend them. If you want to catch fish definitely give them a call you won’t regret it. Jake will take good care of you. Stop by the fly shop and pick up some fishing supplies and apparel. Fished with my three daughters, two of whom had very limited fly fishing experience. Joe and Steph gave us the best guided experience I’ve ever had. Funny, patient, personable, and we caught fish the whole time. All of us. Drove 1100 miles to get here. We’ll be back.

Complete professionals! Jake and Joe were patient, knowledgeable, and accommodating given that this was our first fly fishing experience (but not our last, thanks to them!). They took us off the beaten path for a real adventure, complete with a few trout and beautiful scenery. A total highlight of our family's trip to WY!! Would book again with Cutthroat without thinking twice!

Very nice little fly shop. Found some good quality clothing items that fit my 2x frame on their sale rack. Good selection of stuff, decent prices, and really nice people. Didn't see any fly tying stuff while I was there but that's OK.

An absolute perfect day. As a beginner I had low expectations for my first time fly fishing, but cutthroat absolutely exceeded those. My guide Stephen was patient and an excellent teacher.I Walked away with knowledge and a great understanding of conservation and a love for fly fishing. Highly recommend

My family and I had an excellent fly fishing trip! So much fun and we all caught fish! The guides are hard working and very knowledgeable! I highly recommend for anybody wanting to learn how to fly fish and catch some beautiful trout! Zach, Jake, and Robert were very patient and attentive to all 6 of my family members!

Cant say enough good things about this shop. The selection is unmatched and their gear is some of the coolest I’ve seen. I wish I caught the gentleman‘s name behind the counter, but he was incredibly knowledgeable and more than helpful. Will for sure be back and will for sure be recommending this place to anyone in the Dubois area. Thanks guys!

For all your fly fishing needs this is the place to go. They also sell apparel, gifts, freeze dried foods, some camping and hiking gear, coolers and more. They offer guided fly fishing adventures, guided hikes and kayak rentals. This is an awesome place and I highly recommend it.

Our guides name is Jake.... definitely a 5 star guide !We had a wonderful time on some new water we fished near Dubois, Wy.With a little bit of information about our fishing ability and any health issues, Jake had the perfect spot to take us to.With his guidance, we were at the perfect location, with plenty of fish !Thanks again Jake for the wonderful trip.
