Unfortunately we had very bad experience staying on this campground. We’ve booked one night online and when arrived couldn’t reach anybody, tried sending emails, calls, texts - nothing. We had no idea where is our spot, there was no office there, a “kiosk” shown on the card didn’t exist. There were so many buildings that were private and didn’t belong to the campground, we were totally confused. It was the first time that we paid $70 for a campground and there was literally nobody to assist us and completely no service. And still, after a week no text or call back, nor answer to my email. It’s a pity, because it’s a beautiful location, but with service like this we won’t stay there again.

Nice spot to camp for a few nights. Many open sites with full hook-ups. Close to town. Didn't notice any long-term RVs there. Internet was sketchy, at best.

We stayed for 5 nights. Only saw staff a couple of times, but they were responsive by phone when needed, so no problem with that. Spaces were adequate for our needs. Nothing fancy, kinda bare bones parked on gravel, but it was very convenient to where we needed to go, it was comfortable, and it was quiet in the evening (after the fireworks of course, this WAS July 4th week after all!). Shower small but usually available, river access for fishing right on the property, nice grassy open space area in the middle. No problems at all. We would definitely use them again on our next trip to Dubois!

Great hospitality. Greeted us at 2130, guided us to our camp and brought us dry wood the second night. Very friendly people. We definitely will stay here again. Thank you!

The campground and rv are fantastic highly recommended, the Tipi's are a joke, not at all as advertised. Bottom is exposed, and inside was covered in bugs, mosquitoes, and cotton. The outhouses were even worse.

Camped here in tents for an early season trip. My friend and I have nothing but great things to say. The view of the river is just gorgeous! The owners and workers here are so sweet and have gone out if their way to make us feel comfortable. The bathroom was always clean and we really enjoyed our time here. The owner's dogs were also so sweet. We saw some deers walking through the campsite too. Would definitely stay again!!

We ended up staying here because our original campsite wasn’t available but it turned out to be for the better! The area is so nice and peaceful and everyone we met were incredibly friendly and helpful. We will definitely return if we are in the area and would recommend this campsite to anyone!

This is a great little camping spot. They let me park right by the bathrooms, by the river. It was beautiful! I had to wait for someone to come wait on me, but i didn't mind. Deer right in the yard. Built a fire in the fire ring and cooked my supper. Thanks! I was there 5/12/2022.

This Camp Ground is a good place to camping if you are visiting places no so far from Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone. If you go to Black Hills to this route and need rest this is the place. Quiet and safe. But not así more than the necesary.

There are sites big enough for a 40 ft fifth wheel. The utilities are good. The price is high concidering the lack of amenities.

We are so grateful we stayed here on our way from the Black Hills to the Tetons. We stayed in our two tents on a site right next to the river. It was quiet and BEAUTIFUL! There is one shower and modern bathroom, but there are portapotties throughout the campground. For the amenities you get, you cant best the price! The owner showed our kids where to fish and even helped them get their lines unsnagged. Very family oriented and friendly. We felt like we were visiting relatives and camping in their large, beautiful yard. Thank you for such a great experience!

Tried to charge me almost $40 to pitch a small tent. Maybe my accent as this whole town seemed to resent outsiders. Not sure if there were other bathroom facilities, but the one I saw (one toilet and shower) was absolutely disgusting - bin hadn’t been emptied for about a week. Shame as beautiful spot on the river.

The rescued vacation!!!My family and I were making a 1200-mile round trip to Dubois, WY and stayed at the Dubois Campgrounds. Enroute to our destination, on our first night away from home, the slide on our camper quit working and we were unable to access our bedroom and kitchen area. We though our trip was a bust, however, the amazing people at Dubois Campgrounds were incredibly accommodating! We called to originally cancel our trip and explained our situation. We asked if there may be a cabin available as we had already planned to be away for this time. To our surprise the owners of the campground put us in “bob’s treehouse” which was a recently remodeled loft area with full amenities! The treehouse was a super fun experience as my kids who thought they were in a treehouse looking over the river. We slept each night with windows open listening to the sound of the river which was only a few yards away. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended our stay an additional day. The staff we super friendly. The caretaker for the property must be one of the hardest working men I’ve ever met as he explained the improvements he has made to the property over the last few years. They have great river access on beautiful bend in the river that created a nice beach for the kids to play in the water. If you have any reservations about visiting this campground, DON’T! its more open and less crowded than the KOA down the road with a beautiful location!

Just spent a week here. We're big. Semi pulling a toyhauler. 62' over all. They have sites for this length. Now, some thoughts.-Google maps earth view is old. The layout of the park has changed and is vastly improved.- Response via email, is not fast. They indicated that they are spending a great deal of their time upgrading the park (and it looks it), and get behind on emails and voice mails.- Great place for kids. Lots of running room, a playground for them.- This park is run more eclectic than structured. No real host office. You pull in and they appear to get you situated. No site maps (yet). Site numbering does not make sense but they are marked on the power boxes. .- RV spaces are level, with new gravel, wider than most we have found and every bit as long as they tell you.- Power is clean. Water pressure is strong. Make sure you have a pressure limiter in line.- Wifi is pretty good. It slows as the park fills.- T-mobile and AT&T are strong.- Hosts and grounds keeper (Don) are super great.- It's quiet and a great stretch of the Wind River runs on the edge of the park. We were there to fish but the high water flow (runoff) blew it out.- The park is located just a mile or less from a good food store and a bit more you're in the center of town. There are several other parks in town that are more formal. If you like formal, check those out. If you want a lack of 'rules enforcers' patrolling the park in their golf carts, Dubois Campground is your place.Tent camping is like no other place we have seen. Great lawns in the back of the park, away from any noise. We will be back in the future. Absolutely great park.
