There is no value add to using wells fargo in Cody WY. You can not contact them by phone, even though we are out of the pandemic. Their website indicate they have a notary but don't, which has always been provided in every other bank I have used. So why bother.

Horrid horrid horrid service. No bank tellers no checks for checking accounts, can’t do anything at the drive through. Of course the ATM is down (something I say every month for the last 3 years). This place has really gone downhill.

Twice we have come to this branch to conduct simple business and both times have been told they were either too busy or that we had to make an appointment. We live an hour away from the closest branch and to be the only customers in the bank and told they could not help us is completely wrong. Definitely going to bank with an institution that cares about its customers.

Wells Fargo in general has plummeted in regards to customer service and the overall customer experience. Unfortunately, this branch is no exception. In fact, this branch and the Powell branch(now closed down) are probably the two worst branches I’ve ever been to. I have banked with Wells Fargo for over 20 years, both personally and with various businesses. About 6 months ago, I switched to a local back. The customer service with the local bank FAR surpasses WF in every way. They actually care about the customer’s experience and value their time. With WF you are just a number. The WF phone customer service will tell you to go into a branch and then the branch will tell you to call the 800 number. It’s a complete joke. On 3 different occasions I have gone into the branch only to be turned away because I didn’t have an appointment. That’s after driving an hour to get to the bank. The problem with making an appointment is that the local branch won’t ever answer their phone, so it’s impossible to make an appointment. It’s just a complete circus. WF lost a lifetime customer. Based on their lack of action, concern, and ability to address my needs, they don’t even care. Do yourself a favor and choose a local bank. You’ll save yourself a lot of wasted time, aggravation, and disappointment.

All needs, questions, issues I have had to deal with here have been met by the most sincere, nicest, friendliest people you could ever want. They handled covid-19 like pro's. WF should use this branch as an icon example for all branches. Wyoming hospitality rocks!!!!

This is the only main branch in Cody and there is one inside of the Albertsons.

It was a very pleasant surprise going to this Wells Fargo branch in Cody to open a corporate bank account. I went in with my father and a large pile of paperwork thinking it would be a bear to get an account opened here on a Saturday morning. Instead, after a short wait, the branch manager Clarissa helped us to open an account, and introduced us to the tellers who helped us make a deposit and test out the bank debit card to make sure it worked. The bank is also located in what was previously the Shoshone First National Bank office, a very nicely maintained building. Sometimes things are not what you expect, even at a big, usually-annoying bank like Wells Fargo! Hope to go here more often!
