Something happened. 3 years ago they were great. Now they don't even bother to give a pink slip for an item that is 6ft big and I've got a tiny car. I had it shipped for a reason. USPS regulations say they will deliver to .5 miles off the main road. We are .4 miles off the main road. We've given them GPS coordinates for verification. Doesn't matter. I Now have a package that is too big for my vehicle and no pink slip to claim it. I had to go to the vendors website and see that it was tried to be delivered but "the post box was filled". There was NOTHING IN THE POST BOX. IT WAS COMPLETELY EMPTY. INCLUDING THE PINK SLIP. I don't like to do this but the drivers are liars and lazy.

Worst post office I've ever been to. If you have something delivered via a service *other* than USPS, don't bother going to the post office on the same day to pick it up. It'll just sit on their dock; they won't even touch it.I've also had things sent to my PO box that were small enough to *fit* in my PO box, yet they decided to put a slip in my box so that I had to stand in line and wait to get a package...that was small enough to fit in my box.I also had one of the workers see that my tracking number was a UPS tracking number and said that I needed to go to the UPS store, despite the fact that it was delivered to my PO box *at the post office* (I didn't listen to him, obviously).The bottom line is that a lot of the employees are either lazy or just downright incompetent. Use the local UPS store if you can.

The Cody Post Office is one of the best in the country. The staff is very friendly and helpful and courteous. We’ve never dealt with a better PO. Please talk to them if you have issues—if you are kind, they will go out of their way to help you!It’s actually amazing to me that the Cody PO can deliver so efficiently to such a huge geographical area. Great job and many thanks!

I always receive professional yet friendly service. It’s not their fault the Postmaster General in Washington cut the budget, especially workers and equipment.

I love the Cody post office! They are always friendly and professional. I can call them if I have any kind of mail challenge (and there have been several on the part of senders) and someone always answers the phone and solves the issue quickly. They rock here!
