“We travelled here in 2019 and decided to come back this year on our route home. They have redesign the hotel and have a restaurant close by. I didn’t give it five stars because the noise and acoustics of the old building but the service was excellent.”

“Arriving in Cody I set about the search for accommodation for the evening. After calling out visiting about every hotel in the city I settled on the Holiday Inn. A major consideration was this hotels efforts in dealing with Covid-19. I applaud and appreciate the staff for having to make those efforts and to management for requiring it.
The room was well appointed and clean. Any problems I found would only be nitpicking and not worth mentioning. Any staff I had contact with was courteous and attentive.
I easily recommend this Holiday Inn.”

“We stayed here back in 2009 and loved the place. We went back this year (2024) and from the website looked like the same family owned it still.Well on our arrival found out that they had new owners this year. I must say Matt and Stephanie are keeping the lodge the same way we remember it. Personal service is still alive and well at Absaroka Mountain Lodge. The cabins are old but clean and cozy. It gives you the old west feel. Matt is doing improvements and should have them in great shape. The food they prepare is great. Breakfast and dinner home cooked by John and served by the owners and Travis. What ever you want they will try their best to make it for you. Fish fry on friday night is awesome. Also the beef tips and mashed potatoes kick butt.Scenery is awesome and a great place to stay. I have stayed in west yellowstone and gardiner but this place is much better unless you like staying in populated tourist traps. Thank you Matt and Stephanie for making our trip back a memorable one.
