Every time I go to the salvation army Joyce is very rude to me people in the position that we are standing outside those doors a smile have a nice day would mean a lot to one of us we're there because we need to be there not because we want to be there treat us with a little more dignity and respect

We been going to the food bank for over 13 years and had no issues but for the past 3 weeks we been getting mistreated and rude. By this older lady that uses a 3 wheel walker to make this long story short at first it was just my husband that's a vet and a cancer savior and home bound so I been going there instead and we have a now a room mater in which she gets her own food eats at different times and since Capt Crystal is on a medical leave until the end of the year 2 of the people has been rude and saying bad statements about everyone and today Oct 24th 2023 the room mate got alittle food and refused me because this older lady said we live at the same address so we got cut off everything and only 1 box for 3 people in the same address the food stamps says 2 family's in one address counts as 2 household at the same address . We are so upset . This problems isn't resolved yet because we have no way of knowing who to talk to please get this resolved ..it's not Christian like to refuse people who are on fixed income !! I have personally audio record. This problem and planning on getting a full recording of this if this doesn't get resolved!!

The lunches are always so filling, and the kitchen staff are amazing! There's also a line where you can get food boxes and frozen meals/ refrigerated food items. The other staff/ volunteers are friendly and accommodating every time!(The travel size goodies and hygiene products are always useful as well!)I am *EXTREMELY* grateful for this organization and the people who provide for those in need. The Captain, Crystal Smoak, is such a down to earth person and tries to learn names and greet new faces. I especially loved feeling so welcomed and appreciated. Thank you, Crystal! :D

The energy here is warming and the way that Crystal and her husband and staff have treated people is exemplary of that of Christian faith. Come as you are..
