Sometimes issues with billing with it being a franchise (can't pay by card at the counter if it isn't your home gym, problems with app) but they're as helpful as possible, kind and professional

Update: Not a fan of the fact that i got a $10 charge for them trying to double charge, when I was assured that nothing like that will happen. Granted it is only $10 but still. Because granted my annual fee was a bit late, but I still got charged for it. Then the $25 monthly thing, and then now an extra $10 for a late fee. That's almost a $100 for one month. Ridiculous. Might cancel my membership

They abuse customers by sending two or more emails daily. That is absurd. You pay for a membership and have to supply them with an email. Then they keep sending emails to harass you

I've offered three stars on this review, because I've been a member here for more than a year and up until the past month or so things were pretty well run. It should come as no surprise that early January would be the busiest time of the year for a business of this sort....yet for reasons not entirely clear, the location seems unequal to the task. Equipment that was operational and well-maintained previously is out of service. Staffing is insufficient (currently here on a Sunday afternoon, at 3pm...."as busy as it gets" according to Google's tracking) and yet there is only one person behind the counter, with multiple people waiting in line for help (presumably some of them prospective members). When questioned as to when the unavailable equipment would be back in service, I was only offered "probably toward the end of the week, when the managers are here". This leads one to wonder whether management is really involved in the day-to-day operations, or simply stops by on an infrequent basis. In the interest of fairness, I'll follow up on these comments if or when the situation improves.Update 1/16/24 - Adjusted to four stars. Most of the issues with out-of-service equipment have been addressed, and it has served to "even out" traffic to other areas....good to see that. Staffing still seems off, though. Today, at midday on a Tuesday, I counted no fewer than ten employees on the floor (maybe it was during a shift change?) while weekends still seem short-staffed. As a career manager, I understand that balancing the schedule is among the most challenging things a retail/service business faces. But it's also one of the easiest things to fix. Overall, it's a good club, with friendly employees and a clean facility!

The managers do not explain the cancelation policy very well at all. They just take your money & you are SOL they say there is nothing they can do. They take advantage of people with the fine print. They are not helpful at all.I will never be a member of plaet fitness again.

Management refuses to cancel membership!!!!!! Even after 4 hand written letters sent certified mail (and verification they were received). This place refuses to acknowledge their own protocol for ending a membership The membership was started while we were in the area for work a few years ago but we reside in Illinois. After almost a dozen calls, being hung up on, told Management is never in and even being hung up on by "Management" they refuse to cancel the membership.

I'm loving the massage beds and red-light therapy! The rest of the spa e is great too! Do I wish they had barbells so I wouldn't need another membership elsewhere, sure, but for accessory movements and cross training, this place is top notch! Plus, the front desk staff are awesome.
