“Parking for trucks small at best. The store was great super customer service with so many options, fresh baked bread, bacon wrapped pork. The women's restrooms were clean, and an extra bonus was the bidet. Men's restrooms were clean as well. The in-house restaurant Apple barrel has the best cashier, waiter, server . He is very well suited for his position. We had corned beef hash atop of hash browns and eggs, and the pancakes tasted just like grandma's.”

“I will start by saying that I don’t like leaving poor reviews. I really only do it when I want the business to do better and hope they take the criticism constructively.I had a stroke 9 years ago and struggle to walk long distances. On this trip, I have been traveling with my two minor children and my service dog.Service animals are protected under the Americans with Disabilities act. My dog can go anywhere that I go. She doesn't need paperwork. In fact, it is illegal to ask me for paperwork. You may ask me if she is needed because of a disability and what function she provides. That's pretty much it.The last thing I want to deal with after three long days of driving is "do you have your service dog documentation?" Please educate yourselves on the law.”

“The room was small but very comfortable and efficient. There was a mini fridge but not a microwave. So I used the microwave in the breakfast and snacks area. There was a pool table in the lobby!! The place was new, clean, and a little funky. Will definitely try to stay there again next time through.”

“Great hotel with exceptional staff! I want to shout out Adriana and Molly for being so welcoming. They even switched my rooms around so I wouldn't have to walk in the snow since my car was shot! Restaurant and bar were both tasty, and the disc golf course is beautiful and something of a hike without a golf cart, but that's exactly what I was looking for!”

“I stayed on a Saturday night in early November. There were not too many other guests that I saw. The hotel is clean, quiet, and the staff are friendly. The location is in the heart of downtown Cheyenne. I went to a show at the Lincoln Theater. It is literally across the street from it. I love Cheyenne, and the Historic Plains Hotel adds to my reasons for loving Cheyenne! I'll definitely stay here again in the future.Rooms: Clean and well-stockedNearby activities: Lincoln Theater is across the street as well as the Depot Museum/Visitor Center.Safety: Very safe.Walkability: Walkable to anywhere downtownNoteworthy details: For the price, you cannot beat this beautiful and unique hotel.”

“I was here a couple years ago and I did not like this place, but I decided to try it again my room was clean the bathroom was clean bed was good just my pillows was flat the only reason I didn't get five star on the room and location got four star because I had to drive 12 miles back out of Cheyenne to get here otherwise this was a vastly improved experience since my last trip here 2 years ago I give my A for effort it is a little old could use a little renovation but my needs were met for the price I paid so no complaints here good job in turning this place around I will return. Right across the parking lot is a truck stop with a great restaurant in there and a steakhouse on the other side.”
