They deserve a minus 5 star rating from me. No local offices. Costumer services and billing department can't get stuff right. You call and talk to them overseas. We prepaid for propane and never got delivered and finally got our refund 3 months later. They are over price on everything. We found a local company with a 5 star rating on consumer service and a lot cheaper prices on propane and tank rental and etc. and have a local office and headquarters here in the U.S. that you can talk to. I highly recommend everyone to do more looking in other companies around you and quit doing business with amerigas. We did .

Ok I’m giving 5 stars. I was the Terminal Manager 1987-89. First AmeriGas from VF into Cal-Gas Territory. Young Philly kid to Cheyenne. My son Devan was born there.Thanks for reading.

Service men are great to deal with if you can get them to your residence. Customer service is atrocious. By far the worst company I've had to go through. The centralized Customer service, with people who haven't a clue what you're asking about certainly doesn't help. Would love to be able to call local hands and talk with experienced professionals.

I spent a hole afternoon trying to talk to someone about a problem that I was having with propane. Three different times I got hung up on and had to start over and I still never talked to anyone. Then I get an email saying they have a service man scheduled for Thursday and never asked if I would be available. This is very poor service!

Thank you amerigas for making me and my family pay for your systems mess up. Your system constantly running a month behind on sending invoices. And even when plans on payment are in motion and followed still can't even get service. Also with temps running below freezing and everything is payed won't deliver propane till after someone looks into the fault.. thanks!!!!

I received a call from the driver regarding our dogs and entering through the gate. We also had several snow drifts and he asked what was the best way to get to the tank.

To say they have poor customer service is an understatement. After nearly 3 weeks of unanswered calls & unreturned messages, I emailed their customer service department only to treated like a second class citizen because we're canceling our account. This company wouldn't last 3 months if they had competitors that value their customers!

Moving out of state and trying to get scheduled for their tank to be picked up and have my RV line reconnected so I can go back on my tanks, after several phone calls waiting for a call back, I texted Amerigas. Didn't expect to be texted back that since I'm no longer a customer they can't rehook my line?

Amerigas used to have great customer service, then they closed the small local offices and made it impossible to speak to anyone locally. Now their customer service is horrible. They don't care about their customers. I have been waiting on propane for over 3 weeks, and have run out and they just give me the run around. I have called 2 times a week for three weeks and have been told as many times that my propane would arrive the next day. And nothing. I will be switching companies asap.

The customer service is appalling! Each representative you talk to will give you completely different information and will not honor what another agent has told you. Unless you like being lied to, put on hold for hours, and transferred between departments multiple times you will be extremely disappointed with your service! Avoid AmeriGas at all costs.

Please for your own good do not go through this company!!!! I needed propane starting NOV 9th 2020 and didnt get an answer to why i didnt get a fill till NOV 26th when they told me I HAD TO FIX MY OWN TANK! so i did and then it took till JAN 15th for anyone to come look at it!!! and the technician informed me they could have given me the option for them to fix it and i pay for the part but they didnt!!!! so now they think im liable for the $882 in propane that they should cover for their mistakes!!! i have well over 150 tickets that were "expedited" to the supervisor but never got resolved! they are lazy and dont care about the little people
