For the physicians and nurses that worked with me: This rating does not pertain to you. You did great work with my surgery etc. But this rating is for your BILLING DEPARTMENT. I am very upset. I have been having issues with this company since after my surgery last year. I have been sent to collections due to poor billing management with your carrier or affiliated company. This needs to be fixed immediately. I have never had to deal with so much billing issues with any of my other medical bills EVER! After my surgery I received my first bill from PP, which I gave you all my health insurance information before, during, and after my surgery. But your department never even sent the bill to my health insurance provider, even though you said you did. Regardless someone from your department could've called to check if my health insurance received the bill so it can get paid. Which did not happen. Common courtesy can go a long way for some people. That is why I paid for health insurance in the first place. Instead you automatically put me in a bind, because you didn't receive your payment and I was sent to collections within a month or so. After several calls between you, my health insurance provider, contacting supervisors etc. . It took months to get my account finally resolved,. At least I thought it was resolved. That is very sad, when all of my other medical companies were paid on time, and / or worked with me on my bills instead of sent me directly to collections. Finally after my bill was paid with you guys, and you said you removed me from collections. I recently got random calls from Transworld Assistance Corp, collection agencies, in May on another bill that i never even received from you guys for $300 something dollars. What is so funny is that I received your other bills, but why not this one? You had my address correct the first time, but you sent this bill to some random address i have never been to. So of course I am thinking this is a SCAM when this company calls me, and asks for my personal information. Which everyone should know we shouldn't ever have to give personal information to certain people on the phone, because of SCAMS. Which many people have been receiving SCAM calls everyday. This is very frustrating to know to be sent to collections AGAIN when it was your billing departments fault in the first place. But I thought you fixed these issues, and my account was finally paid in full. Well today I get the exact same call AGAIN from Transworld Assistance saying that I owe you guys money, and you already sent me a confirmation letter that my account was at a $0 balance. So what is the deal? This is getting ridiculous , and again I appreciate all whom has helped me with my surgery before, during, and afterwards with Professional Pathology, but I think maybe someone needs to get more training on the billing side, because it sure is unprofessional to send someone to collections every time you guys don't receive payments due to your errors and lack of communication within your company. I work very hard to pay my bills on time every month. I shouldn't be punished because your company messed something up on my account. Again I thank the doctors and nurses, and the real staff who care for their patients.
