For us, we had the misfortune of several major appliances going out in about a year and a half. We bought a refrigerator, freezer and a dishwasher. The sales staff was good and the delivery guys are outstanding being cautious to bring things in and out, and getting everything set up. Our problems started recently when we developed issues with our stove and the dishwasher stopped working. Our stove was going out so we called Cost Plus to see what they had in gas stoves. They were to call us back, but never did so we ordered our gas stove from Menards, who did a fantastic job ordering and scheduling for us. Then our dishwasher went out after only three months. I called the Cost Plus service department on a Monday and the lady said they had an opening on Wednesday. A time was set and on Wednesday about a half hour after the appointed time I called to ask where the repair man was and was told our appointment was next Wednesday. Next Wednesday rolls around and the repair man arrives to tell us our motor is bad, but he isn’t surprised because they have had problems in the past with these models. There is a 21 day waiting period, but already knew they didn’t have parts, but he would check and get back to us the following day and suggested we call the company ourselves to maybe get it expedited since it was only 3 months old. Again we didn’t hear back from anyone. On Monday I called the service department to see why we didn’t hear from the repairman and to get a phone number for the company. The lady started going off saying no one told her she was supposed to call us and there was no need for us to call the company because it wasn’t going to do any good. I told her this was just what the repairman told us to do. She finally gave us the number but never did anyone apologize for the inconvenience and miscommunication that was caused. I decided to report all of this to the Cost Plus management. I called gave a quick summary of what had happened and was advised I would need to speak to the owner Nick, who was out of the office and would call the following day. After another day passed and the owner never called, I called again to ask to speak to him and was told they would text him to call right away since he was traveling to Cody. As of today, a week later, we still have not heard from Nick. We want to support local businesses, but how do you do that when they don’t seem to care? Menards gave us excellent customer service, followed up with us and did a fantastic job with the delivery. Cost Plus is fine unless you have problems and then it is as if they don’t want anything to do with you.

If you are looking for new appliances, or cabinetry, and want an honest, thorough and helpful experience, COST PLUS IS YOUR PLACE!!The wife and I needed all new appliances for a home we were building. With Nicks guidance, we picked out the perfect appliances for our budget and esthetic taste. He took his time, showed us all possible options, and was very honest and neutral.I’ve worked in sales for years, and run an out of state home improvement company, so I’m very hard to please . I can honestly say this was the best experience I’ve had in any sales situation. Nick GENUINELY LOVES WHAT HE DOES and wants to find the best possible solution for your needs. No strong armed sales games. He takes his time and makes sure you the customer are happy.We recently had our new refrigerator installed and the delivery/instal guys were on time, friendly and clean.If I could give him and Cost Plus 6 stars I would. If you need appliance or cabinetry stop in….you won’t regret it.Thanks Nick!!

Better late than never! I will begin by saying that when you walk through the doors, you will see a very clean and organized business. Staff is very friendly and ready to help in any way they can. You will also be greeted by the “owner”. Riot. I got new kitchen appliances from here, Nick was very helpful, very knowledgeable in each make and model. Went through all the pros and cons of each one. Answered all our questions, (even though some were probably asked more than once,) He probably spent more than an hour with us and never seemed in a hurry. Now for the guys who delivered and set up. Justin and Nick (different Nick) Just as friendly and knowledgeable about what they are doing. As they were installing appliances, they were showing me what certain items were and how to care for them. when to call Clinton if something seems off. Those two guys work very well together, they help each other out if one’s not sure about something. I had to leave while they were finishing up, they cleaned up and made sure the doors were closed when they left. Did I trust them when I left, you bet I did. So would I recommend CostPlus? In a heart beat. One last thing, have a milk bone with you.

I think they are closed or bought out. The sign is off the building and the one on the street is messed up. There's an open sign but the door is locked and it looks more like a show room for the shop next door.

Even with the difficulties of the "Pandemic Supply Chain", they came through for us. They worked with my contractors when they were behind on installations. Thanks for being such a trustworthy vendor!

The staff at Cost Plus saved me $1,500. I had a 10 year old KitchenAid dishwasher that wouldn't drain. I figured the pump was bad so I went in to buy a new one. They showed me a few nice dishwashers. Then they asked a few simple questions and determined it was an easy fix. Rather than trying to sell me a new one they gave a me a few things to try at home and it began working again. They could have made a sale but rather provided exemplary customer service. Now, when I or anyone in my family needs a new appliance, cabinets, etc. COST PLUS is where we are going. Kuddos, gentlemen.

Bought a Speed Queen washer from them in April 3 years ago. After about a month of use we were experiencing start problems. Their service man has replaced the lid switch 3 times over the last 2 years. We still have the same problem. No communication. I've been to the store multiple times and no follow up with me. Terrible service.

My mother purchased all her applaines for her kitchen remodel from here about 2 years ago. 8 months ago her KitchenAid dishwasher stop working so she contacts Cost plus for the repair. They inform her that it would be 6 months for the part due to supply issues from covid, understandable. Fast forward to this week (8 months later with ZERO communication) my mother and sister go to inquire about the part. Nothing but excuses and passing the blame onto another employee who wasn't at the store. After many more excuses they then tried to sell my mother a new dishwasher. Customer service is severely lacking. Sadly you would get better help from a big box store then from this place.

We purchased all new appliances from Cost Plus last February for our home. The guys that delivered them were wonderful. In October our brand new convection oven/microwave broke. They came out assessed it and said they were ordering parts. That was October 23 and we have waited and waited and waited. Understandable that Covid has everything put behind but then we called again last week to follow up and we’re told since we had waited they would replace it because it’s brand new. Then we didn’t hear anything again and called this week only to be told they don’t do that and we have to go through whirlpool. We called whirlpool today to be told that Cost Plus is not an authorized repair company and we would have to wait another two months for Letzs to come out at which point our appliances will be off of warranty. We spent thousands of dollars and have had the worst customer service after trying to shop local.
