Erik and Trent have created an outstanding fishing experience; from the wonderful lodge, to the fantastic guides to the special parts of the river(s) they’re taking you on. Can’t say enough about the guides: all are consistently great! I fish all over the West and keep coming back because it’s one of the best!
Nearby activities: Not much “nearby” unless you choose to drive to Casper, WY (20 miles); but you’re there to fish.

Incredible location, hospitality and adventure. Fishing was amazing (even when they werent biting) and our guide Jalen was knowledgeable fun and perfect for our group. Eric and his dogs were great with birds. All the stars!

Phenomenal experience. Sleeping arrangement were great, food was exceptional, and the views were spectacular.Nearby activities: The fishing experience through the reef fly shop was amazing. First time fly fishing and our guide, Jalen Stapleton, was very patient, informative, and great company. Couldn’t recommend it enough and will definitely be back!

Just spent a week in the cottages at North Platte Lodge. Our guides were Josh and Mason.
Josh has been guiding here 8 years. If you want to drift any of the rivers or lakes around Alcova, he is outstanding.
Mason is new but he was great help all week. He took us out for a primer wading trip on the first day and then gave us his phone number so we could call him with questions or get advice.
I know it isn’t busy this time of the year (April 4-8) so we received plenty of attention but this experience was perfect for me. We had a guide for three days and waded on our own for two days. The flush was going on and I think it only made the fishing better.
Everywhere I turned all week people were catching fish. I think we caught around 20 per day each in really tough wind and cold weather. None we’re under 15 inches and several over 20 inches every day.
The cottages are exceptional. Cable TV, clean accommodations and great beds. This place is everything I could ask for. Not fancy. Just perfect.
Thanks to Eric, Mason and Josh. I will be back. This place is special
