Scammers to the 10th degree. Quoted us a price and went thousands of dollars beyond, without proper notification. Claimed there was gas in the fresh water tank (which we never use and has no connection to the engine) and told my 80 year old mother it was an extra $100. Once the over $8000 bill was paid, the engine still had issues. No matter what their reply is to this review, they took massive advantage of our trust. The worst experience I've ever had with any mechanical company in my 51 years of life. Thankfully, we found an honest mechanic that fixed the remaining issues for a fraction of the cost.

Just be ready for a great experience when dealing with (technician) Brad and reception staff!! I had an electrical issue with my boat, we called and reception staff recognized the urgency of situation and immediately had their technician speak to us directly. They were able to get us in immediately and Brad had us up and running in a very short period of time! Great people who are willing to help in any situation!! Thanks for turning our day around!! Nice job everyone!!

Went to plowmansfor a problem on the trim on my motor and they wouldn't even look at it until the next day. Took it here not only he looked at it he fix the problem it turned out that it was a bad relay. Thanks again.

I dropped off a 1997 9.9 Mercury to have it summerized, picked it up 10 days later. Starts on the 1st pull every time. Excellent service.

We recently purchased a new pontoon boat from Arbor Vitae Marine. After a few days on the water, we noticed a small performance issue with the motor and contacted Heidi about it. She and her team promptly addressed the issue and we couldn’t be more pleased! Heidi and her staff are amazing and super to work with. We highly recommend them for your “hydrotherapy needs”!!

DO NOT BUY A BOAT FROM ARBOR VITAE MARINE!! Purchased a new Avalon Pontoon in July 2019. One month later noticed crack on dashboard. Sent email to Heidi and numerous phone messages, never returned. Finally found Heidi at marine in Sept. said she is bad about returning emails. Promised to fix crack while in storage. Pontoon dropped off at lake May19, 2020 crack not repaired. Contact made with Heidi said tech caused crack by over tightening screw and that crack could not be repaired.(not true acc. to Avalon) Asked for a new dashboard and waited to hear back. Completed customer survey sent by Avalon and related difficulty in getting crack repair. Received email from Heidi who said based on my survey information detailing crack repair issues that Arbor Vitae Marine would no longer be servicing my boat. Real classy,, and this was a minor cosmetic repair, cannot imagine how it would be on something major.

We left our boat with Arbor Vita Marine for a couple of weeks until we returned to have a little maintenance completed. Picked it up and it will idle but runs really bad. I took it back, and they said we only changed the spark plugs and it ran fine for us. Then why does it not run now? Arbor Vita Marine could care less about their customers and the quality of work they perform. They denied responsibility and never even tried to make it right. This type of mindset and business practice is unacceptable. They should fix what they guaranteed would be repaired instead of blaming the customer.

We had Arbor Vitae Marine winterize ans store our boat for the winter. Upon picking it up, my husband asked them if the antifreeze had been flushed out. To which the man responded "yes, I drain d it all out". Turns out, HE DRAINED IT DIRECTLY INTO THE HULL OF THE BOAT!! Now we have antifreeze sloshing around in the bottom of our boat, and it stinks!Response to owner:Yes Heidi, the hull was dry when we dropped it off in the fall, and contained quite a large amount of antifreeze when we picked it up. We checked all the hoses, and all were intact. We have lived up here for over 35 years year around...and we do know that's not normal.
