If I could give less than 1 star I would. I would never recommend this company for moving services. Our residential move was very simple, it involved moving large furniture only and some packed boxes and plastic totes from our sold home to our newly purchased home approximately 2 miles away. The actual movers were rude, complained loudly in front of my husband and I the entire time, and used profanity in their communications with each other and even with us (as in, lots of f language). I was shocked at how unprofessional they were. They also had no sense of urgency and were inefficient. This was important because they charged by the hour. When we were told in the end how much the total fee was for approximately 8 hours of moving services that day, I was flabbergasted-- it was over $2000. They did not pack, they did not provide supplies other than the truck, and they did not move anything with glass. We did all of that ourselves. So keep this in mind as you consider this company for your move, in comparison to your other professional options.

The three men that did the work were great. Respectful, good with my items and professional, a good bunch of guys, I felt sorry for them that they had to listen to the dispatcher lady. She was extremely pushy trying to tell me to call the landlord at the new place and see if they were done cleaning it yet so we could get in it earlier. Then a couple hours later she said ask them again. I'm not going to do that, I told her when I wanted/needed to move and she accepted, that's the end as far as I'm concerned. She tells me one thing and tells her crew something else. I didn't like her at all and won't be using this company again ever because of her. She tries to talk you into holding your stuff overnight and delivering the next day so it costs more and the price was unbelievable. What an irritating woman!

Owner, Geneva Rapp, is dishonest, unethical & rude. My dad's move was scheduled on a Wednesday. She called Monday asking to move him a day early, on Tuesday. SHE STATED SHE TOOK ANOTHER JOB ON OUR MOVING DAY. I told her our timeline didn't allow us to change the move to Tuesday or Thursday either. This date was booked 2 months in advance. She didn't listen to me, interrupted constantly & kept badgering me "help her out." After 2 conversations I gave Ms Rapp a hard no & asked if her movers would be there at 8:15a Wednesday as agreed. She said she'd have to call me back on Tuesday.Fearing we would not have any mover, I texted her later Monday evening & asked her to provide packers & packing materials for free in exchange for moving Tuesday at 10a. She agreed stating "the movers will come out & get started & she would come to do the final packing."An employee showed up at 9a. According to him, he didn't know they were moving us that day. I'm sure he was there to do reconnaissance because the movers showed up but no Ms Rapp or any packers. My sister called her & was rudely told that she & I only agreed on her packing the kitchen & she stated that was already packed. She then threatened to pull her movers from the job immediately. The movers did a good job but the owner is a piece of work. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! ZERO STARS.

The guys were terrific. Quick, careful, very helpful, very nice. I would give them a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10.

Didn't send big enough truck therefore the workers had to take all day to pack everything super tight. Still couldn't fit it all, the kind worker had to take 2 trips in his personal truck to complete the move. The movers were great, office people are something else. Anywhere but here is a better choice due to the way this place is ran. All the reviews about taking your money are spot on!

Unprofessional company. Inaccurate quotes. Troubled management. Called for a quote which took place through four phone calls. I advised I really only need help with my heavy furniture as I am more than capable of transferring boxes. (Also, movers typically charge an hourly rate.) On the third call, a woman named Geneva said "just have the guys take care of it since they're already there." During the fourth call, I politely advised on two occasions I need time to review the estimate (read: compare to other quotes), and she continued to push and request confirmation of the move. By the end of the phone calls, I was quoted around $300.The next morning, two guys show up at my home. At the height of this 2020 pandemic, one did not have a mask, and the other was not wearing his in a protective fashion. At the start of the move, the guys were loading several boxes via dolly which turned into carrying single boxes about 40 minutes in. While loading my furniture, I'm told the movers were not made aware of moving an adjustable base bed. They were also unaware of a couch disposal. *With my experience up to this point, I said, "Leave the couch, I'll figure that out another day."*Now we get to the new place, three hours in. At this point, I'm frustrated it took three hours to load half a truck. I tell the guys to just place my bed, and pile everything else in the living room/dining room/kitchen. After leaving for an appointment, I come back, and they are finished unloading the truck. Walking into the new place, there were a few damaged boxes, a couple pieces of damaged furniture, and someone attempted to empty a water bottle which was actually dumped on the counter and the bottle thrown on the floor. When going in to pay my bill, I'm told there was an incorrect calculation, but it's been corrected. Instead of being charged around $725, the final bill came to $677.XX. I tried talking with Geneva about the care and level of service received to which she responded by not letting me finish a sentence. She then thought it appropriate to bring one of the movers in to "validate" what I was saying as I'm saying it. By the end of my visit to the office, I was livid at the amount of disrespect displayed in a short 3 minutes. In summation, I had a short turn around to move my things due to unexpected work travel, and they were able to accommodate. However, this is the first time I've ever used a moving service, and this is the only time I will ever use Rapp's.

Hidden charges not stated at time of booking, charged for packing material not used, charged for service twice, expect driver to prepare and collect from customer , not professional, pay the movers $15 per hour and charge customer $150 hour, when challenge the charges they say things they've done for others (and that has what to do with me?) would never recommend them!

Worst experience in my life. They Wrecked furniture. Scratched flooring that hadn’t even been walked on yet until the day of the move. Workers sat in vehicles on their phone while I moved the stuff. Owner Yelled at me afterwards for me saying something to her about it. Charged me for guys that didn’t work and hours that we didn’t occur. She threatened me during the phone call and interrupted me the entire time. Never an apology for the workers that left. There were only 1/2 left and I felt bad for them as their other crew took off after not helping.

Would recommend Rapp's for any move. Very professional. Concerned when putting the TV stand back on that it was taking to much time and costing us money. Took great care with furniture and considerate of coming in on the new carpet. Highly recommend.
