Hotel is super friendly and with in walking distance to the Noah's ark. Great location and can't say enough about how kind and great the staff was. Rooms are dated but very clean. Definitely would stay again.

It's a family business run by the owners, who are extremely helpful. It's not a high end Hotel but it's a great value for money. The location is perfect with lots of attractions and restaurants within a walking distance.Rooms: The rooms are clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet considering they face Lake Delton's main street. There are very nice indoor and outdoor pools. The outdoor pool may seem a bit redundant when you have so many water parks around but kids still love it. The indoor pool looks even better, it has a jacuzzi and it's a great option when the weather is not so perfect.Nearby activities: Noah's Ark Water Park is across the street, Mt Olympus is a few minutes' walk. You have a pancake house and a very good hot dog bar right next to the motel. Lots of attractions, like the "ducks", go-karts, the Lost Canyon, as well as many nice restaurants are within 5 minutes drive.Noteworthy details: The prices include tickets to Noah's Ark Water Park or Mt Olympus Water Park, so the lodging is effectively almost free. Parking next to a water park is paid separately but it's close enough to get there on foot even with small kids.

This is THE CUTEST motel...we have stayed at 4 other motels in the Dells area and this one is my favorite due to its nostalgic, family friendly atmosphere and perfect location right across from Noah's Ark Waterpark. Families were grilling, kids were playing on the swingset and in the pool (pools both indoor & out) and everyone was enjoying a perfect weather weekend while sitting outside their rooms on the patios/balconies. Everyone was extremely friendly, the rooms were very clean and the passes to both Noah's Ark and Mount Olympus were put to good use. We can't wait for our next trip to the Dells so we can stay at the Shamrock Motel again!

The rooms were fairly clean. The reception lady was very friendly. Location is great as it is right across from Noahs Ark. We did receive free passes to both Noahs Ark and Olympus Water parks. I thought it was a little pricy but you pay for location.

The Shamrock Hotel was ok. The room was very clean, and it has this old times vibe which is somehow cool. But its very different to what kind of Hotels I am usually used to. But the biggest advantage is definitely the location, its just couple walking minutes away from Noahs Ark Waterpark, which is super convenient. If you are in the Dells, check out this Hotel.

You pay for the location and included water park passes. Staff is friendly enough but rooms could use a lot of attention. Parking lot design is the absolute worst! Very difficult to turn around after you park.

What a gem!! The staff was warm, friendly and accommodating. The location was fantastic and park passes were included for everyone with our stay! The property, though a bit outdated, was still great with an outdoor and indoor pool. Would definitely recommend and stay again!!

I picked this hotel because of the location and offers. The room wasn't bad a nice place to sleep. The bathroom could of used more ventilation to allow the moisture to air out. Bathroom for our room was designed toilet against the door so be careful when opening the door if someone forgets to lock it.There is an indoor and outdoor pool. Be careful when it come to wearing swimsuits they shock the pool every day based on the fact we have seen in 2 nights in a row. So don't wear your fancy stuff.Location amazing didn't drive far or much during our time at the dells probably less than 5 miles a day. Could walk to many of the place during our stay.Nearby activities: Mount Olympus was probably 5mins away, Noah's Ark water park was across the street. Very close and staying at this motel they offered day passes for each day so 2 night = 4 days. Plus we got a pass for Mount Olympus for 1 day. So I advice to do Mount Olympus last since most likely it's on your way out of town. Both place you have to pay for parking.

Awesome place to stay at a great price. The inclusion of Noah's Ark passes absolutely made it even better. The rooms were clean, the pools were clean, staff was friendly. Did it have the latest and greatest amenities? No. But it's also not OUTRAGEOUSLY overpriced like the other hotels/motels in the area.Rooms: Very clean rooms. Inclusion of a microwave and fridge were nice because that seems to no longer be the standard at "nicer" hotels even.Nearby activities: Noah's Ark is right across the street as well as a number of restaurants.

Would not recommend staying at this place. Read reviews and decided to book 3 nights. Checked in and our room smelled terrible and opening the windows did not help. Beds were very uncomfortable and the TV channels would only display in full screen on a small wide screen TV. Room was very dated and not very clean. Gunk on the TV remote. After 30 minutes in our room we left and found another place to stay. Would never stay here even for $20 a night probably not even for free. I am not sure if other rooms are better but ours was not even ok the reviews were very misleading. Location is centrally located to attractions. Across a very busy street to Noahs Ark and about a .5 mile walk to Mount Olympus. Would recommend staying just about anywhere else

We rented a 2 bed, 2 bath family suite with 1 king and 2 queens. Having the 2 bathrooms for the 4 of us was great. Our teens said their queen beds were comfortable. Our king bed was pretty hard. The king bed room had a small table and 2 chairs. The 2 adjoining 2 queen bed room behind the king room only had room for the dresser, night stands and beds- no sitting area, but did have a small closet area (the king bed area did not) to hang items. For anyone with mobility issues, be aware that the main section of the hotel, at the "ground level" is not level with the parking lot. There is a very steep concrete curb to walk up and stairs. Our room was above the office in the main, South building. But it looked like the North building was better ground level access if you have issues with walking or bending knees for stairs. The room was very clean. Fridge and microwave in room, but no in-room coffee. The coffee in the lobby was....free lobby coffee. Powdered creamer packets and sugar. I found a coffee shop a block down the street, just past the Mr. Pancake restaurant- Rosewood Cafe, which had $5 20oz coffee and well worth it.My husband was less than impressed with the hotel room door lock security. At this mom & pop motel, you get a physical room key. It did not work in the dead bolt, so any belongings were not really secure in the room (a good shoulder or kick to the door and it surely could've popped right open). The typical old-fashioned pull curtains did not close snugly, so lots of light came between the curtains and around the windows at night. We put beach towels in the gap and it helped, but didn't help with the light coming around the curtains. No breakfast at this hotel, but breakfast restaurants on either side of it. Also, an A to Z store in the same strip mall as the coffee shop a block North, that had some drinks, souvenirs and what we needed- new water shoes as our son's had a malfunction the first day at Noah's Ark. The location of the hotel was quite central, but be warned- to get across the 4 lane highway over to Noah's Ark after about 9am is very difficult. There are cross walks, but about 3-4 blocks in either direction. There is an outdoor pool, and an indoor pool on site. We didn't use either but looked like others enjoyed. A few grills in the center section and a few picnic tables. There appeared to be several large groups of families/friends staying at the motel, so a lot going on outside in the mornings and night, but couldn't really be heard from inside our room with the AC unit running.Friday night parking was decent at the motel. However, Saturday night, after returning from going out to dinner, there wasn't a parking spot available and had to park on the grassy grill/picnic area with several other vehicles. All in all, the office staff was friendly, the rooms were clean. Noah's Ark passes included for 3 days with our 2-night stay. If we stayed again, we'd bring our own small coffee pot, and spend the $20 for daily parking at Noah's Ark to better and more safely get there, and would ask for a room in the North building as it might've been slightly quieter.

We have always stayed at the Shamrock Motel when at the Dells. Very friendly staff. Rooms are clean. Noah's Ark passes included with stay, you can just walk across the street. Love that there is both an indoor and outdoor pool.
