My fiancé, I have been looking for a larger vehicle for a couple weeks. We went to a local Janesville car dealership (Kia) and had a terrible experience. I was looking into a vehicle and we were told my credit union was one of there best place to work with.
We got into the vehicle and it realer like cigarettes. We went in and told them. They acted shocked. After finding a vehicle, I was approved from my credit union, this dealership stated that they did not work with my Credit Union (summit) after they told us already on the phone that they did. I was completely turned off by the idea of purchasing a new car at a dealership. My fiancé Stated that a lot of his fellow firefighters have gone through Burtness and they have had amazing purchase prices, salesmen and the locations are awesome.
When the products are similar, it's the dealer that makes the difference.
This slogan could not have held to any higher standards. I found two vehicles That I was interested. We went and met Nick, he had the vehicle ready for us and even offered us beverages. I test drove two vehicles and within minutes, I knew exactly the vehicle I wanted to purchase. Nick, was Not only was amazing salesman, but he was so knowledgeable for each of the vehicles that I drove and was a great advocate for me by helping me get a trade in price on my old vehicle.
Within minutes we got a price for my trade in and agreed on a price on the new vehicle. The finance department was exceptionally amazing. We worked with Dan, who was incredible. You could see his experience and enthusiasm in his work. We had such a quick turnaround time in signing all appropriate loan documents.
But that being said both Nick and Dan went above and beyond. We will only purchase vehicles from them in the future. I can’t want to hear about Nick’s Christmas at his mom’s house and Dan’s upcoming concert. Truly amazing. Do yourself a favor. Don’t do what I did. Go to Burtness first. And get the gap insurance. (For you, Dan!)

Took us years to find 1 dealer that meets all of our requirements. Sales and Service and not to far from home. Go see Nick if your looking for new or used. He can help you with all the techie stuff that the new vehicles come with.

The technician didn’t put oil in my car, I picked it up with low oil pressure and engine power lights on as well as a check engine light and my vehicle had a ticking noise. I drove around to the service entrance and the same tech checked the oil and added A LOT of oil (which I saw with my own two eyes) . Had I kept driving my engine could’ve been ruined. Not a good look considering it was my first oil change at 4k miles. I don’t think I will be back to get my vehicle serviced there as i can’t trust the tech to perform a simple oil change.

The website is terrible. I thought I was scheduling tires and brakes but the service department did not get that information to order my parts. But they made sure to get what I needed ordered and made sure everything was better.

The salesperson Brad was not “pushy “ like other salespeople and was very knowledgeable about the vehicle I bought. The paperwork went quick and was friendly and explained the paperwork and the importance of getting the extended warranty

My wife and I went to Burtness Chevy, Buick Gmc in Whitewater today to purchase a used vehicle. Our salesperson Brad and the Finance Manager Dan made it the best vehicle buying experience I've ever had. Between the two of them they made it the fastest, and most painless car buying experience. This was my first car purchased from this dealer, but it won't be my last!
