“Took our little Luna the hedgehog to Hillside after getting her as a rescue. She hadn’t had the best experience with people, but I wanted her to have a checkup to ensure everything was okay. They were amazing. Took their time to make sure Luna was as comfortable as she could be while also making sure she was healthy. Definitely would recommend them ?”
“My Furbabies go here and you can tell there not just in for a pay check there because they love what they do and taken care of your fur family! They don't do anything else they talk to you first and if you don't understand , there willing to explain in better details. I recently had lost one of my furbabies in January due to the hard decision to let her go, I called them to let them know she was no longer with us and they where very loving and gave there respect to us and sent us a beautiful loving memory card for our Little Lulu. I sure miss that sweet girl, ❤️ thanks for the support and care for my fur family!? This only place been to in Lacrosse County so far.”

A few years back, they diagnosed lymphoma in a different dog of ours and worked with Madison Vet School to do chemo here in La Crosse. My dogs are family and they have given them long and healthy lives because of their excellent veterinary care. I am so grateful for Hillside.”
“We drive out of our way to take our dog to VCA and are always pleased at the level of care received. We recently had a dental cleaning and X-rays with Dr. Magee. Our dog’s teeth are the cleanest they’ve ever been, bad breath is completely gone, and Dr. Magee gave us a follow-up treatment plan to address other concerns. Not to mention they trimmed her nails at no extra cost during the visit. We love Dr. Magee and would recommend her veterinary services to anyone looking for a competent and compassionate vet. Also wanted to highlight the kind level of care received by the vet tech who comforted our dog at her level throughout the wellness exam and diagnostic services.
