Drivers like Bob are the reason R&L is the preferred carrier for NSM-La Crosse. He knows the freight he is delivering is extremely important for our clients’ mobility, so he goes above and beyond. For example, regardless of the construction on Mormon Coulee/South Ave, he will still stop by the shop after hours on the off chance anyone is still there to receive the shipment because he knows most are time sensitive. The business itself seemed alright. The manager was great! The gals in front were helpful! Some of the drivers could've been more cooperative instead of zooming through at mach speed dumping paperwork in the basket - particularly paperwork NOT clearly separated from other drivers. But they were otherwise all generally pleasant.Sadly, my supervisor was incapable of teaching a new hire. Had he simply drilled the #1 task I was hired for [like HIS supervisor did the 1 day he was gone] I'd have all but mastered that task. THEN 2 smaller tasks [that go hand in hand] could have been added, & I would've had the primary functions down pat.Teaching has a purpose: its expected outcome is that the student LEARNS. That doesn't happen when one is bombarded with several tasks [NOT critical to the position hired for] as she is trying to be sure she does her job without mistakes! It's like putting your foot out to trip someone who is "on a mission"!Counterproductive at best.I'd be happy to work there again if more efficiently trained! I see they have that same position open again just a few short months after I left. Hmmm just sayin!

I picked up a DR piece of equipment at there terminal, they called me when it arrived said I would be there the next morning, when I walked in they loaded it in my truck and I was out of there in 5 minutes. That's good. Thanx
