“They were friendly, had the product I wanted and ready to go. They took out the product and made sure it worked. I will be going back. Small packed store great to look around.”
“Highly recommend! Jon (owner) is passionate about his business and a staple to the BV community. Lots of great items (new and gently used)! He’s very knowledgeable and helpful, and just an all around great person to chat with. Stop in, say hi and check out all the cool outdoor gear!”
“Love the back hall venue. It's so friggin adorable. There is so much to look at. Have to come back for the actual antique portion in the front of the space now.”
“What an amazing shop! It's clear that so much love and care went into this space. The selection is fantastic and the owners are warm and friendly. The overall vibe is fantastic.”
“Yes, they are only open the last full weekend of the month, but it's no biggie if you follow them on Instagram or check their website before heading over. Great store with new items every single month! Friendly staff, fair prices, and truly a unique vintage shop that cares about the entire shopping experience. This is how vintage is done right. It's a must go!”
“It's a wonderland! The store is set up so beautifully, showcasing great quality furniture and artwork. I have a fun time looking through the store. Because of the setup, the stock sells and the store displays change often. Good quality and unique things.”
“My new favorite consignment shop ... Debbie is nothing short of amazing! She was helpful & personable, and the merchandise feels like the perfect blend of thrift and curated. Will be back again!”
“Wow this place is amazing. Super nice and attentive. Lots and lots of stuff! You'll probably find what you're looking for here. The majority of the things did not have price tags, which I found to be really inconvenient because I didn't want to have to keep asking how much this and how much that cost. For that reason alone, I would only return if I could locate what I really wanted here. Additionally, there is a service fee for using a credit card. Go check them out. I think you'll enjoy it.”
“Great shoe selection! Was able to find my daughter some back to school shoes and came back to find some bday shoes for her at short notice. VT and the rest of the staff were very helpful! Will definitely be back.”
“Got the pleasure of stopping in this store the other day and met both of the owners who were both fantastic to have a chat with and very kind! Absolutely cannot beat the prices in this store anywhere else and I'll absolutely be coming back to do some more digging soon ? thank you guys for the awesome disc golf bag and keep up the great work and store!”
“TRUE vintage is sold here! Very quaint shop that is packed with pieces from a wide range of decades, as well as accessories and décor. A little dusty and disorganized, but fun to go digging.”
“This shop has quickly become one of my favorite places to look for something new, fun, and unique. I've bought several dresses since my first visit in June. One of my more recent trips I bought a really funky dress by N by Nancy brand. It was super tiny pleated fabric with a black background and lots of random color splashed here and there. I wore it to my cousin's wedding and got a million compliments. One woman even wanted to see the tag on the dress and wanted to know where I bought it. I also got a fabulous purple/blue dress for a friend's wedding in July that zipped up the front.
Every time I'm downtown I try to make time to stop in and take a look around. I love how unique the clothing is and I don't think anything is unreasonably priced for an independent boutique. I know what I'm getting there I won't see anywhere else. The ladies who work there have always been super friendly and helpful. I appreciate their willingness to give me an honest opinion while trying things on.”
“Came in today to do some shopping and had my little kids with me. Ashley was working and saw that my kids were bored and offered to sit and hangout with them so I could look around. It might be the nicest thing anyone has done for me in a long long time. Ashley has a kind and pure soul and is a beam of joy. It was such a delight to cross paths with them.”
“Recently discovered this resale shop and I'm so happy i did. We went when they had the red tag bag sale. Meaning that all red tag items you can fit into the bag will only cost $1. We scored some amazing deals and the shoes were no more than $6. What a great store will be returning.”
“I recently had the pleasure of attending Alive a Fine's annual Easter event for the 2nd year in a row, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience! The free egg hunt for kids, complete with treats and candy is such a heartwarming touch and it was so fun to see the look on my son's face as he opened the eggs. They also have drinks for kids (and adults) which are very appreciated!
The owner and staff of Alive a Fine exudes kindness, which reflects in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the store. It's evident that they take great care in curating their selection of cool clothing and housewares, creating a space that appeals to a wide range of tastes.
Overall, the Easter event at Alive a Fine is a wonderful tradition for the community, and we look forward to attending for years to come. It's an opportunity to enjoy the festivities, support local artists like Margaret Muza who does beautiful tintype photography during the event, and discover unique treasures in the store. I highly recommend Alive a Fine to anyone looking for a memorable shopping experience coupled with community engagement.”
“L ove this place. There's a young African American girl works in the front that is always exceptional as cashier and being over-all friendly and informative. Truly..the entire staff has always been authentically nice and helpful...”
“Really cool shop! Lots of vintage and antique treasures to explore, and the shopkeepers were wonderful to talk to. Mainly furniture, jewelry, books, records, and and funky little items. Cool to check out with a dear friend and just explore. Needs more attention!!”
“I was shopping for some fall clothing today in the area, so I decided to stop and check this store out. I have been to other Salvation Army locations, but never this one. I found some great sweaters here. Prices are pretty standard compared to other thrift stores currently. I believe most items I bought were between $4.99 - $6.99. There was the sweetest man working the cash register, too! My only issue with my visit was an employee who approached me with a pretty rude tone. She seemed irritated with me and I’m not sure why. Maybe I was doing something wrong and didn’t realize it or maybe she was having a bad day ?♀️ Anyways, I was still very glad I stopped here and would definitely recommend stopping by.”
“I think that we have some great deals in this Store. We have half off each week off 1 color. I think it's a great place to shop. Please everyone just come in and check us out. Thank you.”
“Mari was an absolute ray of sunshine in our day. She was so sweet and kind, making checkout and a hard day so much better. Julieona was also super helpful and even called me to confirm that certain pieces of clothing that I was selling were mine. The women working there were all very friendly:)”
“Good store! I like the layout of this one better than the Greenfield store and the clothes are cuter and nicer. A little bit more expensive but the finds are good. I also like that it doesn’t have a limit on the number of items you can take into the dressing room. It’s much more convenient to just try everything on in one go. When I went there was a girl with glasses wearing a bandana I think and she was so sweet. They were also playing Taylor Swift the whole time so I was having a blast. Its 25 minutes from my house but I definitely don’t mind making the drive”
“No matter What you go looking for, you definitely find wayy more lol Friendly staff The prices are so affordable. Had a good time finding everything under the Roof!!”
