Rebecca and Ben did a wonderful job helping me to get my taxes sorted out.
I'll be honest, I had procrastinated doing my taxes for farrrrrrrrrrr too long but Rebecca and Ben never made me feel stupid. Best of all, they turned it all around and even got me a totally unexpected refund. Great people to work with.
Even if I had ended up owing money, I appreciated their hard work and the fact that I never felt like just another customer.
I hate doing taxes. Absolutely hate it. And my last tax preparer was mean - to the point of not having a place for her clients to sit while she went over stuff - at her counter! What the heck?!
But Ben goes out of his way to make his customers feel respected and seen and makes sure that they are comfortable. He even gives an annual party for his clients to stop in and chat - kind of like a "meet and eat" event and I believe it usually includes his favorite food: bacon! When is the last time that your tax office threw you a party?
Much of the process with Tax Team can be done online - very helpful. And for the times when you do come in to drop off documents, sign anything or to pay your bill, the offices are pleasant, the seating is comfortable, and there are even snacks! But best of all is the people. Rebecca and Ben and the whole team care about their clients.
Yes, Tax Team provides a service and they get paid for their work (reasonable rates - you want cheap, shoddy work you can find it somewhere else); but unlike lots of other tax preparers, they do a great job of making you feel welcome, seen, and respected and it is Ben's mission to get every last dime that you deserve.
I avoided the big corporate places that focus on giving you tax refund loans (at a cost) vs getting your taxes done correctly. With the other guys it all seems to be a numbers game of getting the most clients in the door and the emphasis seems to be on speed vs looking for the most ways to save the client money.
I just can't say enough good things about Rebecca, Ben and Tax Team. If you need someone to help you with your WI and/or Federal taxes you can't go wrong with Tax Team. They have offices in Milwaukee, West Allis and Waukesha. Give them a try. You'll be happy that you did.

These guys did a great job at a reasonable price. Easy to deal with. They can do the work remotely through their company portal online, so it doesn’t matter where you’re located. I’ll definitely be using them in the future.

They did an excellent job with mine for the last several years. Anytime there's an issue they resolve it quickly. I can't imagine going anywhere else. I really do have to go to one of their bacon parties.

I had the most awesome experience with them!! I got behind in my tax returns and I asked them for help.. I didn't need any high priced attorneys.. just someone to hold my hand thru the fear of catching up..I wound up getting 12,000 of refunds . Thanks Peter and Ben.. see ya in a couple months!!
